Big difference from letting a pup run an empty earth behind an adult dog " i don't do that either" than letting them in behind a dog working it's quarry i don't care how easy the place is. It only takes a minute for a keen pup to chew into the arse end of the adult or push it into it game. But if you guys want to risk your tykes then crack on but i find a well bred pup will want to go on it's own when the time is right it's in there genes

HI, it was not the image being posted, but the threatening comments made that have brought this on..... WE know its the internet and all that, but those that are against us will try to mis-quote us at every opertunity and also try legal action if they think they have a chance of winning........ IMHO you did the right thing to post the pic, but with hindsight a locked thread would have been more ideal so no threats could have been made.... I suggested that and was told it wasn't worth the hassle

IMO it's not that the hares have nowere to hide it's the dogs that don't. They can't put up a good show and miss it at a wood or a hedge they have to stay till the end you see alot of good allround dogs pull up on fen hares ........FACT!!!!

Have spoke with Joe through pm's and we have sorted this crap out I couldn't see any harm in the question i posted and still can't, but if i coursed the lad who's dog it was about any insult i apologize :kiss: But i still think you lads are too easily offended and need to chill a bit lots of things on these boards come across in a different way to what they are meant.

Why do people think that saluki's are all thick and collies are all rocket scientists Breed from the right dogs and you will get what you are looking for. I have tried collie Xs and personally can't get along with there strange ways give me one of my own any day.

guaranteed 100% for what? you can buy 3 of the best bred black pups in the country for the price of one of these and they will work. hello steve I doubt that very much, most if not all of the best blood never changes hands for money.

yes a saluki does give you stamina, but it is one of the thickest dogs on the planet, and serious pot fillers cant be thick, i would love you saluki lads on serious note see what happens when your out with the ferrets all day and then the lamp in the night,salukis are no match for the colliex,mark,so just move on All i keep are saluki based lurchers and they can certainly fill a pot or ten. Theres more than a few people on here who have seen them run day and night
