The story is Jack was sired on the hush hush by a top class greyhound that was be kept at a kennels were Jamie worked. Jack bred JJ who won the forley cup both were not bad dogs but not top clash hare killers IMO.

Stuff buying lamb breasts i get that many for free (2 or3 sack fulls) most of them go to feed the local fox population. I also feed lamb and beast heart venison trimmings and chicken wings it costs me about £3 a week to feed 5 dogs but i have fed as many as 11 for just a few pounds extra.

Had a cracking season had 54 foxes with the terriers and 43 of them with one bitch, beat my personal best by 2

Had a few Charlie's from tyres and other piles of junk over the years The reason i think foxes don't use silage bales that often is they tend to squash together so theres no were for them to lay up.

I've never had a fox from plastic covered bails before Welldone lads.

I've had two and a half dozen eggs off there this year already and only had four clear all the rest have been full. Just try and get them from a seller that has decent feed back

Willow is about 7 1/2 ............ This little vixen gave a good account of herself as a rule willow doesn't mix it much unless she has to and this time she had to This little bitch has seen a hell of a lot of foxes and to be honest it was probably one of the best digs i,ve had to her.

Don't judge a book by its cover I don't know these dogs but what if they started hard then with all the work that there owner provided they had to ease of a bit A hard dog can pick up alot of scares in his early digs and they last a lifetime weather he steadies up or not

The hock is a totally diffrent part of the body than the arse but as you say a good dog will take any hold it has to, to get the job done.

Just my opinion for what it is worth but a dog that takes deer in the manner you describe will miss alot more than it will take. I prefer a dog that takes a hock then moves to the throat once the deer is floored

Canada would be nice but no earth work there its illegal Newzealand has nothing that lives in holes but would be good for lurcher work so it would have to be Australia plenty of foxes and no laws against digging them But deep down i'm an english man and i love to hunt english quarry so think i will stay around a bit longer
