    The easiest way to get a collie x is to go to Hancock... me, I searched for two years and then one popped up more or less on my door step,.. other people wanting one have searched hell of a lot longer.... collie greyhound or collie lurcher?? does it really matter if there's something else in there... working parents with good tempements and well socialised pups is the way forward for me....

    Just start off with long grass, rushes or something similar just to build confidence...... slowly slowly catch the monkey, lol

    Not necessarily. It all depends on the bushing pup's breeding. If it comes from good working stock that can't wait to get into cover then I can't see any problem letting it run about with a lurcher, especially if the lurcher marks stuff in cover. But I always take bushing pups out on their own once they have a bit of an idea what to do. Being out with an older sensible dog, lurcher or busher, can help a pup's confidence, but it also needs to learn to go it alone. Yes very true....     If you let a bushing pup run around working with a lurcher there's a good chance it will grow up trying to work like a lurcher....

    It's a nice bit of kit, really light and easy to carry around.... but with the beam being a white'ish light the rabbits seem to blend in on ploughed typed fields... anyone else notice this or is it just me lol....

    [="forest of dean redneck" post="3531534" timestamp="1391336034" Funny enough when we went to aber on thursday,missus remarked she couldn't understand how the forest of dean boar hadn't spread to Monmouth side of the wye. I know one was seen swimming the wye,and they were up round the narth when they were first released. You would be surprised how far they have spread,.... There's a farm in walking distance from me having some trouble off them lol
