If you've not sold it yet, I know a chap in Chesterfield who might be interested. Elliot & Son Gunsmiths; the guy who runs it has had a couple of Hooton & Jones, so he'll likely as not want it, and he'd make you an offer on the Bates too. He restores old English guns, so he'll be able to tell you all about the proof and everything, and you'll get an offer regardless of its condition (unless it's a REAL wreck ) I've got the address if you want it;
