  1. when I was looking into humane dispatch, this was the main reason for the shotgun route, rather than FAC, seemed alot easier to get a SGC and purchase a single shot 410 hushpower for the job, my FAO was in agreement that it would do the job sufficiently, having used it a number of times, with 2 1/2" subsonics it does the job perfectly, also as it can be folded in half, its much more discreet when carried into a homeowners property (bagged) as for noise, it is hardly noticable, my last fox job, a lady was hanging washing two gardens away, she never bated an eyelid

    sorry, say again...
  3. dont take this as another pi$$ take, but if your advertising this, either here or elsewhere, run a spell checker across your advert, bad spelling does not look proffesional and people then may not take it seriously

  9. although the forum is open to all, it does make me wonder why people dont seek information closer to home, rather than asking questions from other country members its a bit like me asking the question of "whats the rabbiting conditions in essex, going to be like" on a german website
  10. try putting the photos on photobucket, re size them there, then put on here for future reference, lower the resolution on your camera/phone it'll make the pictures computer friendly
  11. you'll normally find it takes a month or so, before rabbits move back to a warren, keep a check on your jill, she may well come into season, and then your hob wont do much work if you put them both down a warren, he'll be looking for love
  12. had thought Id be stuck indoors this weekend, due to being skint as anything, but chris88 phoned me last night, offering 2 boxes of carts as a belated birthday pressie if I fancied a day out, anyway we got over the field that gave us some good birds last week, and proceeded to freeze to death, note to self; dont forget the hand warmer next time, you know the sort of cold, where your fingers wont do what you tell them we stayed till around 11am, then the lure of the jeep and "heat" made us pack up, we had been using two magnets, two bouncers and around 24 deeks, but the birds just wer'nt the
  13. cheapest and good dont go together in the same sentance, either buy decent or get ready to pay out for lots of cheapies
  14. great pictures and write up pat, its come to my mind though, the reason you take such cracking pictures, its your excuse to make Inan do all the running
  15. how did it fair then chris, did it bring birds down into the pattern, how did the battery hold out, could you see birds changing flight line after clocking it
  16. the 4 x magic mounts for shell/full bodied deeks looks good too, not a bad idea, works out to around £15 per deek (use you own deeks)

yeah your right, stop taking the mick, I thought his mums sister had moved into the street
  23. a landowner opening up his land to ferreters/shooters etc, as matt has said, would be the most cost effective, as it would cost him ziltch, the only trouble here, is giving permission to people, they then class it as sport, and many wont try to erradicate, as they want the permission to be ongoing,
  24. when I pulled up outside the property, seeing the markers missing, I had thought someone may have nicked my traps, but after I located them, I lifted them to be on the safe side, so have 8 left in the property paddock, there were two new mole hills, which is why I left those traps down, they are either from the one I caught, or maybe theres a 3rd in there
  25. Ive got normal plastic shells from evil bay, not the greatest, but yes, they were cheap, by the time you'vre added a magnet and a few dead pidgeons into the mix, dont think the pidgeons notice too much...
