  1. for future reference, whether you do it now, or begining of winter, Id suggest at least one extra person, and yes, put all four jills in, entering them into the warren at the highest point
  2. you sure it was gasmen, and not kids being kids, ie pain in the arse
  3. if used in warrens, ie buried in the entrance hole, how would anyone see them, painted or not, and if you mean after its caught, anyone would see them anyway with a rabbit attached,
  4. this needs a price and location to stay here mate, read forum rules
  5. because most of the "rabbiting men" as you put it, are doing it for the sport and permission, rather than a way to pay the bills its not a case of being up ones arse, I reckon its ok to give hints here and there, but its no difference than if you asked a butcher, to tell everyone that comes into his shop, how to cut up meat, thus saving them money, who looses out it the long run or a mechanic to explain to his customers how to fix cars or any skilled person, for that matter, how to do their job where do you stop, this is a big open forum, if new users/mole catchers, simply used
  6. Ive got one in the garage, dunno how to use it either FOR SALE; electronic test meter thingy
  7. reading my first post, I cannot see anywhere that I have said or slated you as a pest controller, I simply asked a question, only for you to bite my head off, and again, it was you that brought up the "health & safety" issues, I have seen your website, and it looks very proffessional, barring one piece of grammer
  8. take that time to read up as much as possible on the subject of breeding ferrets
  9. these four ferts, are they all hobs? or a mixture of hobs and jills whether it was two hobs, or a hob and jill, as stated its coming into that time of year, prehaps you need to do some fast reading/learning on what ferrets do at this time of year, its all perfectly natural, and getting rid of a ferret for is, is not the answer, understanding is
  10. just found it and watched it, bloody hilarious, for those that want to watch it, follow the link http://www.letmewatchthis.com/watch-27209-Man-About-Dog just click, watch version 1
  11. Hi Mate You always have something to say why not dispatch the fox there and then... as you can see it has been nice outside and people are now starting to do work in the garden so the last thing i want is a 22 rolled straying. but i'll say one thing to you safety first i work with it and i work along side it (safety first for me and the customer and the the people around me, the garden and the weapon) Sorry if that is wrong in your eye but by the sound of it you just like to shoot the fox not thinging of who is watching or where the rollen gose. Well take care not
  12. It'll make the local chavs want to break in
  13. have you got photobucket, if not, download it, you can resize your pictures there, in future, re set your camera/phone to a lower resolution, saves altering the size after
  14. why not dispatch the fox there and then, rather than picking the cage up, and having the door fall off
  15. could'ent make head nor tail off that
  16. woodys nest all year round to be honest that is the first i have heard of that,if so why do we not see youngsters all year round. whether they do or don't, he's right about the law and shooting nests
  17. Ive always used a emulsion (silk) for insides, and a gloss outside if needed
  18. would it have been an inside job? or was the place broken into?
  19. bad idea if your only going to have one or two ferts, a whole rabbit in the summer will get maggots within a day, much better to gut and skin the rabbit, then chop into chunks as already mentioned by others, freeze it in bags (old carry bags do great) and then defrost daily, Id expect a whole fully grown rabbit to feed one fert for at least a week, maybe a touch more
  20. either your puncuation is wrong, or you want to shoot some crow nests I wouldent shoot birds on the nest, even as pest control, you then stand the chance of shot birds, falling onto nest and just rotting away, no very proffessional looking
  21. just done a 70 mile round trip to my mums, not a murmer, sounded like my old car again I cant win, when the noise is there, it does my head in.... when it aint there, Im doing my head in, wondering why not
