  1. we get many members asking/wanting to have a mix and match ferret/mink/stoat/weasel hybrid, although yours look ok, along with a nice set up in the background, I cannot understand, WHY whether your an experienced ferreter or not, that you'd want to use an animal of any description, that you had to be causious around if you had a dog that bit you every time you put the lead on, Im sure most people would not want it, so why allow/put up with a fert doing it 100% ferret does exactly what its worked for, bolting rabbits
  2. should be left at least 2 months, he'll still have live rounds in there
  3. the reason these posts have been left up on the forum fireman, is not because your correct, its to try an educate anyone who does not know the law, deleting this post would not educate anyone, unless the member asking the first question, asks for it to be removed, Im quite happy to let it run...

  6. try telling any landowner your not going to control rabbits in summer, as it spoils nexts years sport, and you could well find someone else with permission, rabbits are pests, and the time they really need controlling, some totally stop, whether its ferreting, hawking, lamping, trapping etc, it still goes on, you still going to be culling pregnant or milky does remember, your sport is someones livleyhood
  7. bit of a silly question that aint it if a fivers too much to donate per year, dont Bit mardy you aren't you pal some one been shaggin the mrs'?? not in the slightest mate, Im just fed up with morons on this forum, donations to the site are not compulsary, so its good to see members asking how they can donate, now you either wanted a cheap laugh, or you was being serious, either way my reply would have been the same, so not getting the response you wanted, you then try to make yourself sound better by calling me mardy and bringing my missus into it
  8. so, instead of "little shits" around your garden, you'll have piles of "big shits" instead......nice
  9. bit of a silly question that aint it if a fivers too much to donate per year, dont
  10. wasent this asked a few weeks ago, try using the search button
  11. get yourself a product called "get orf my garden" its a green crystal type stuff, that'll keep them from shiting in certain areas, do they have collars/name tags? do you know who they belong too, if so, bag up whatever they leave behind and return (nicely) to the owner with any form of pest control, you need to prove that you have tried every method of control starting at the simplest, try leaving a hose pipe/sprayer rigged up, to give the cats a blast if you see them, they soon learn, like any animal, you need to be consistant DO NOT TAKE THE ADVICE TO SHOOT/LIVE CATCH
  12. look at the top of any page, just under the "the hunting life" logo, you'll see boxes with blogs, calendar, gallery, DONATE, pages, search simply click on donate and follow instructions
  13. that'll be me then pockets are ok, but the trouble with them, or should I say "mine" is they accumalate a lot of crap, bits of twigs, dirt, dust, fag ash etc, you then throw a box (25) carts into your pocket, and all that shite sticks like a magnet, Im then picking bits off, or giving them a "blow" before loading, as I dont want that muck in the barrel, so YES I use a cartridge belt, holds 50 carts, keeps them clean, and I can easily see how many I have left, so, now,do I, get rid of the belt, as per nod's advice, It'll make me a better shot, wont it or say, feck what anybody else thi
  14. I have the .22 version, pre anti tamper, good duns, but as stated, if its for close up work, then a crossman ratcatcher would fit the bill perfectly, and cost alot less ££££££'s
  15. some may remember, I bought a dove decoy motion thingey from the usa last year, only to then buy a proper pigeon magnet the next month, so the dove decoy got left on the shed shelf, I think harry the cat had some success with his one that he bought at the same time. anyhow, one of my permissions that keeps goats and sheep, have got a big magpie problem, so rather than buying more decoys, I thought Id try and change what I had to hand, the plastic doves were noticable smaller than a magpie deek, so I need to extend the tail, and the beak looked too small, so that needed modifying too,
  16. heard the news that yorkshiremen are using dentists needles to inject "E" directly into their mouths this dangerous habit is called E BY GUM

  20. definatly a vet visit, and for future reference, its called a vulva,
  21. you forgot to add, that if anyone did do this, they would need to provide food and water for the fox until dispatch
  22. its good that you asked beforehand, but if you dont have the means to dispatch humainly, dont use the fox trap, apply for a SGC, and when you get the visit from the firearms officer, simply explain you want a 410 moderated (hushpower) for humaine dispatch of foxes caught in a live trap cage, I did just that, and had my licence within 2 weeks, 410 hushpowers seem to hold there money whatever age, picked mine up for £200 if you dont want to go down that route, try peeing around the garden, it sometimes works
