  1. sold as seen, finished but if he contacts you again, tell him you have given all the info to your solicitor,
  2. Im sorry, but this post makes no sense at all your first post, quotes you cant find a snipped hob in your area, and should you get your jill jabbed a reply is left, yes, get her done, only other option your last reply, is ok,, I'll leave her a few more days and look for a snipped hob
  3. are you asking us, or telling us
  4. putting two jils together in a hutch, before they have their kitts, is fine, but why after they have had their kitts
  5. have always kept ferrets, never had one die from cancer, old age yes, thats bout it
  6. you reply to that, as though its illegal to hummainly dispatch foxes, which it is'nt, only certain types of hunting has been banned, as for, will it become a pest, I think it already is
  7. I remember that other post, but I don't like his new avitar, so Im not saying
  8. gassing after the warren is empty, would defeat the object of gassing, think your thinking of the contraption that ignites gas, totally different to gassing rabbits, the one that collapses the burrows in not the thing to use, in my opinion
  9. knock it on the head, or provide clean water, fresh food and shelter for it
  10. I know breeding ferts can be stressfull for the first timers, but why must some people try to play god, let nature takes its course, or risk loosing the lot
  11. see my reply on other post
  12. the size of the runt, I would'ent expect you having any luck in hand feeding, more likely you'd end up giving it the shites, just put it back, and leave them alone, if it gets to the 4 - 5 week old stage, then you can give extra meals of fresh rabit
  13. good to hear she's ok top marks to you, too many times do we see posts asking about "why is my ferret sick" and "its been like this for days" nice to see someone that uses their brain and posts the story after the vet visit
  14. I thought that too, but after asking, bit/tubes can grow back/re join, so a snipped hob, can start firing live rounds again a year later
  15. hobs will smell this time of year, jills smell alot less get a couple of this years kitts/jills, she'll have fallen in love with them, before any smells kick in, years ago, my missus said "only one" because of the smell, within a week she was telling me to get another, we now have 16, with two jills living in the front room, go figure
  16. i can keep the poxy hob mate! so the fellas not trying to have me over. but to be honest i dont want a hob all i want is jills to be out of season for there own sake. ok, so you could keep the hob, as stated, it still wont work this year, you may not want a hob, but keeping ferrets may mean you need to, weigh up the costs, jill jabs each year against cost of snipped hob every snipped hob is a gamble, as already stated, the op may not work, or bits grow back, maybe Im just lucky, but I have four castrated hobbs (no nutts) in a court with three jills, all the jills have been in season e
  17. getting a hob snipped now, will be a bit late for your jills, get the jab done, this year it aint going to stop future breeding, of course he's telling you that, sounds like he wants you paying for his hobs snip
  18. and there's me, trying to figure out how the triggers work
  19. see, I myself would leave well alone, have watched my jills remove dead kitts themselves before now, or the next time you look, the dead have been eaten,Id worry, that disturbing her further, may force her to reject remaining kitts
  20. of course they will, remove urban foxes and more take their place, the same goes for most animals, were no different, get a few empty houses in a nice area, you'll soon get squatters
  21. as long as its not lockable
