  1. as per the title, I have 2 x ferret collars/locators used condition, but perfect working order, I'll inc 10 new sealed batteries £50 the pair plus post and packing, or you can collect pm me
  2. have removed your phone number, members can pm you, but it needs a price to stay here
  3. Ive always thought ferrets were good enough to do what was wanted of them, why fix something if it aint broke the hybrid bit I think is a bit like blokes and their dogs, "my dogs better than yours" type whats the good of ANY ANIMAL, that bites the hand that feeds it,
  4. some may think as a pest controller, Id have permissions coming out my earholes, I have, but only for ferreting, my only shooting permission has noise issues, and size of land, limits me to a moderated 410 shotgun anyhow a few months ago I did a mole job then a rat job for a customer, and recently his dad asked me to control his rats too, both are paid jobs, but it gets better... today he asked if I could help control pests on his private lake, jumped in the car and we whizzed over there for a look, well it blew my socks off, 59 achres of land 26 achres of lake, so of course, I had to
  5. its got 450 bar stamped on the bottle, looks like the test is due this year, so I'll take it to be tested,
  6. the time has come for me to part with this great rifle, even my missus don't want me to sell it, as it's so nice, but applying for my FAC, means it needs to go the complete package, bottle, rifle, silencer, scope 9x40 mil dot, 3 x 10 shot magazines, and a couple tins of pellets, also the case that it all packs into, slightly larger than a briefcase, can be carried with the side handle, or add strats and carry like a rucksack it has a few minor marks here and there, but nothing serious, you get around 60 shots before it needs a refil, and the bottle is small enough to carry in the car
  7. no ones mentioned that if a pellet leaves the boundaries of their garden, then its an offence, phone the police and let them deal with it,
  8. this time next year, you'll be a millionaire
  9. very fancy looking, looks like something from tomb raiders, a price would be good, although have to say, still prefer wooden
  10. yup, i bought an old log burner for £35, sold a year later, in worst condition for £145
  11. first clip is just after chris had tapped the swarm from inside the hedge into the transport box http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-NfTvbY9cM the next clip is putting the swarm into a hive, there were thousands of bee's and I wasent wearing a suit, so excuse the camera shake, one bee was hell bent on stinging me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRsA-sIPQ3g
  12. well, looks like Ive now got the bug, or should I say bee, went out yesterday with chris bee to collect a swarm, and then relocate into one of his hives, very interesting to watch, Ive got a couple of video clips of the collection which Ill post up later. am now trying to get rentokil interested in the idea of swarm removal, would be good for their public image, plus get them to pay for my training, hive/s etc was shocked when chris told me the swarm inc the queen, could technically be sold for around £150, there was around 15000 bee's although its seems most keepers rely on farme

    Canarys

provided she has a nest pan, and is in healthy condition, put the cock back in, and leave in
  14. be a good ferret keeper, and put off breeding till next season,
  15. quoting "your pests wont be back" sounds too much like a gurantee, can then see you getting called back, with customers expecting work done for FREE pests do come back, thats why they are classed as pests,
  16. Id try liquidized cat/dog food
  17. Id leave him in the court for at least a couple of weeks
  18. always good to see a new member.... contributing to the site, before getting on with the hard sell, links etc, filling in a profile, or even a better introduction was probably too hard
  19. first off, you'll noticed Ive merged three of your posts into one, save the general section getting filled up with questions from yourself, now it seems your eager for answers, well someone has already advised you to look in the gamekeepers section, and I will too LOOK IN THE GAMEKEEPERS SECTION three quarters of the way down the first page, is a post by "rew" on catties, 54 pages, YES 54 giving you all the answers you have asked questions about so far, plus much more, links to cattie sites etc, making your own shot etc go read that, save yourself a lot of time
  20. have you wonderred, why the firm doing it are not getting results? Id be very weary, they have a firm already, who are a "pest company" yet want you instead, maybe theres more problems there that you dont know about risk assessments, method statements, insurance etc, can be a nightmare what will you be doing differently,
  21. yeah, dont buy one.... theres going to be loads here that will say a catty if capable of killing such and such animal, but by your questions, I get the impression you'vre never used one, yet want to go straight into "killing" can imagine lots of near misses, wounded animals, and no respect for your quarry
  22. good to hear its still catching chris
  23. nothing you do now will change her, certain ferts behave like this at breeding time, explain to your little girl, that this happens with ALL females, and the jill will return to normal, after the summer
  24. not whilst they are in the throws of passion, he cant
