  1. after reading jelly4_'s post yesterday, in another thread http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/163792-is-their-much-point-decoying-crows-and-pigeons-on-cut-hay/ it got me thinking, that although it sounded crazy, it might just be the thing I needed, I have one permission/sheep farm, that has a very big problem with the magpies, its made even harder by the fact that this place has noise issue's, so I can only use, either the single shot 410 hushpower, or the rimmy, most times that I go there, I shoot either rabbits or pigeons, but the farmer is always asking me to give th

  6. beretta I would Imagine are the better of the two, saying that, I own a hatsan, its a catch 22 really, as if your new to shotguns, the hatsan bought new from a shop, will not only give you peace of mind with the warrenty, but also as a customer, you'll be able to ask the shop 101 questions as if its a decent shop, you'll be a valued customer, will you get any aftercare with the beretta doubtful, unless its a shooting buddy

  12. at the end of the day, all ferts are different, so only you can tell, Ive got 4 hobletts, living in the court with 4 jills, all get on great, and although it goes against what everyone says, one of them, even though he has no nutts, still grabs jills that are in season and does the buisness, and gets them out of season
  13. pictures are needed, for that to make sense to me
  14. if kept together now, they will have sorted out who's boss by next year, yes they will shag each other, but animals do that Ive got three hobs that live together all year round, no blood fights what so ever, its more when you try putting 3 adults hobs in together that your more likely to see trouble
  15. we often get a difference in prices throughout the country, I charge £90 per mole job, thats a minimum of 3 visits, paid on 1st visit, which breaks down to £30 per visit, but thats it, until the mole hills stop appearing, so sometimes it's 4 visits, but no extra charge. I dont know if thats too cheap or too dear, but I have a regular customer that calls me up every time he, or his family have a problem. as for websites, check this one out http://www.wix.com/ it dont cost you anything
  16. you simple need an eyebolt/rawlbolt, probably around M12 size, and a decent high speed drill the same size as the shank on the eyebolt, drill the rear of the cabinet, before fixing to the wall (through the back) then the rawlbolt will be secured in the wall, along with the other 4 fixings securing the cabinet
  17. I removed it, simply put, e bay is there for people to browse through, so we start a post here, linking items from e bay and other sites, what happens when it gets to 100 pages plus of "for sale" items, are people going to look at the first page, or go straight to the last who's going to have to go through untold amounts of pages, and delete sold or out of date items/post, I'll, in tell you, us mods, we have enough to do keeping this place in check, without you adding more unrelated pages for us to do. also unless each post was checked, some members could advertise on a dog site, then lin
  18. well,I have to say, they are slightly cumbersome when carrying, so after watching the above clip, I'll be chopping them down a bit, as they are extending poles, Ill reduce them to around 4ft when closed, still giving me the option of making them higher for standing
  19. he's better off passing his driving test, then looking at starting with one of the big pest control companies, as if he shows willing, they will put him through all the training he needs
  20. I think were a certain breed of people, lots of folk out there, see something they want and just go out and buy it, whatever the cost, myself and a few others by the look of this post, opt for the "can I make it myself" approach, I needed a red filter recently, but rather pay £16 for the proper one, used an old wrong size filter, and a few minutes with the dremmel, its a good un, heres my attempt at shooting sticks, slightly longer so they can be used standing, 2 x washing pole props from wilkinsons at £2.00 each, and a nut and bolt, as I did'nt have a spare inner tube, but by using the
