  1. carry on taking them out ferreting, your post gives the opinion that they should be packed off to an "old ferrets home" I have 3 generations of ferrets all living in the court, any trips out, at least two olds ones would come along, in a total of around 5
  2. just dont go to overboard, if you house multiple ferrets, ferts can withstand cold, but heat is a killer, my court houses a mixture of 9 ferts, inside section is filled nest boxes of straw, yet most still choose to sleep outside in boxes, piled on top of each other for body heat, therefore make sure you give them the option on sleeping quarters, just because we think its cold, ferts may not
  3. Ive got a few with white mitts, all kitts go at the same price, £15 ish, as post above, talk of "white feet" is more in the fluffy pet brigade market of selling ferts
  4. the suspense and waiting had me on the edge of the seat, lol
  5. try rubbing neat washing up liquid into the area, soak in VERY HOT WATER
  6. I was expecting to see them climbing tree's
  7. I would add, dont always hope for everything straight away, the new permission we have just got was for lamping rabbits only, they already had pigeon shooters on other parts of the farm, and although we offered, were told thanks for the offer, but we have pigeon guys, I therefore made it a mission to do good on the rabbits, both evening and very early mornings, on every occassion Id take note on what fields were being hammered by the woodies, and text the info to the farmer telling him to inform his pigeon guys, they all shoot another part of the farm, not this bit (1000 acres)anyway after onl
  8. interesting and funny write up john, excellent pictures too
  9. to chimp, your so right mate, Im always looking and thinking, I can make it cheaper, get ready for this one you'vre seen those plastic foxes to decoy in the crows? £60 bloody quid they wanted, and who really knows if it'll work so, e bay £2.00 and "dobbin" got turned into "basil" and it works

  14. mine took 2 months, being a pest controller, I rung them and stated a customer was getting irate on his "pests" and should I sub contract the work out to someone else with an open ticket, had it within a few days after that
  15. save yourself alot of time, get it to a bike mechanic to check, our bike would'ent start, had loads of "bikers" look at it, all quoting the wiring loom was fecked, took it to me son who's a mechanic for apprillia, turned out to be the fitted alarm, 15 minutes later and bike ran perfect
  16. but the big difference, as you say yourself, one's legal, one aint yet you leave a reply contradicting springs to mind
  17. in some places it is, a few lads local to me pay a local farmer £100 a year each, but he has around 30 shooters, not a bad earner for him, but it sounds like its hard finding an empty field, I was offered a place there earlier on in the year, but turned it down with the same attitude, "I DON'T PAY TO SHOOT PESTS", but on looking at it, it only works out at £2 per week, which for someone who has no permission, aint that bad, Im glad I stuck to my guns though, as only a couple months back, was given over a 1000 acres to shoot for free
