  1. Same here John mate i'm crap at computers so shoot at markers from 10 yrds out to 70 yrds two or three shots at each and just watch where pellets hit and mark them on a bit of paper of a similar recticule of the scope i'm using and correspond it to My Recticule on the scope . atvb Daz 7
  2. Superb Bud, Love the Colour of the Stock as well Mate , Good little guns the S410's Davy & Chaz love them . atvb Daz 7.
  3. Sorry clubshot but I disagree with that - the best hunting pellet is the one with which you can hit the target with the utmost accuracy, resulting in a quick humane death with as little suffering as possible I wouldnt dare shoot an animal with either of those pellets the accuracy is so bad i wouldnt know if i was going to hit the animals head or arse! I took a box of rangeright to nottingham (along with many others) as they were supposed to be the replacement to the loguns, they also got tested in several guns and binned for the same reasons as the ogives which is strange as when
  4. Absolutely Brill Adam , For the Distances i'll be shooting up to 55 yards its the danglies, don't need the Doubler as i don't intend to put it on a Rimmy or Centre fire, So standard Mag 4.5x suites Me. Can shoot down to 5 yards and see good enough to shoot. Has i've got a weaver rail on the Rapid it's an on off affair to change back to My day scope in Seconds without having to re- zero . Mine was bought off the Rapid 7 owners forum and was a Demonstrator for Scott county gun shop who sponsor the site as well, they lent it to Sporting Rifles Mag for a review . And because of the New

  7. Cheers Simon, Kanny & Mr T. Loving how much the Rapid is a good all rounder, Reliable built like a tank, And good for Hunting day or night, Also the odd bit of Target Shooting i.e. THL HFT, it's never let Me Down once, Unlike the Prosport which had to have a Small repair within a couple of weeks of buying it, But its back to it's best now . Yes Davy i'm bringing it and the Prosport as well atvb Daz 7. atvb Daz 7.
  8. Here's Mine in NV Mode with N550 attached, Day scope on off affair with no zero alterations thanks to the weaver rail is a Falcon Menace FFP. Left hand Rapid MK 2 .177 Cal in a CS800 MFR Skeleton Left hand stock with 280 cc buddy bottle, And hushed with a Nutshot 10 inch Custom Carbon Mod. 9. The way i was taught and still the only way i Calibrate my combo's as i'm shite with computers so i'll stick to what i know. Don't have to worry about Chairgun as i do it in real time not virtual, Don't get Me wrong all these gizmo's will help. But i get more satisfaction with trail and error of pacing measured targets out than looking at a computer screen. atvb Daz 7.

  15. what does that mean pal? I work in a supermarket..not the army lol Only joking Skot. It's an RAF Disciplinary order. For handling a weapon "dangerously" (Like your apparent shooting of your furniture!) you were put on a "252". Or a "Fizzer". That's a disciplinery charge written on an RAF Form252. Usually the punishment was "Jankers". Basically fatigues, spud bashing, cleaning the bogs, sweeping the guardroom out and kit inspection. Ours in the Army were R.O.P's, Restriction of Privileges, Same sort of Punishments though
  16. Cheers Lads for the replies , Just been to the shooting club and zeroed the N550 and Prosport properly . N550 and Prosport zeroed out to 55 yrds no wind, Prosort .22 zeroed at 30 yards. Rapid N550 combo in .177 cal zeroed at 25 yards Level Trajectory from 25 - 45 yards 50 yrds half mil, 55 yrds full mil dot. . All on the standard 4.5 x mag of the N550 without Doubler lens fitted. atvb Daz 7.
  17. Cheers Craig & Tron Love the set up but the Tree Rat didn't , Yep Craig hopefully be able to capture the shooting on the N550 as soon as the DVR arrives. atvb Daz 7.
  18. My Neighbour asked Me to see what was raiding His Bird feeders at Night, So i thought Superb can test the N550 out. Feeder is only 16 yards away so got it all set up, Positive it was gonna be a Rat About 22:00 hrs ish i saw an outline slinking towards the Feeder, Thought Superb My first Rat with the N550. I was convinced it was a Rat but got a Shock as i turned on the N550 and the 940 nm ir It was a Bloody Squirrel ? So i lined up the Dot on the bottom of His ear and let fly with the 7.9 gr .177 Li pellet, Down and only one swish of his tail. Didn't think they fed at Dusk thought they
