I've had most of the top springer's HW , Pro sport, HW 97 KT but the Best one for Me is the Original Hunter and Target Rifle the HW 77 in .22 Cal Especially with the New Ambi Stock So a Gifted Leftie like Me can shoot it to it's true Potential and it's still untuned and i'm smacking cracking groups with it But coupled with the hefty Falcon Menace Scope it's Not for the Noodle Arms Brigade. atvb Daz 7.

As Si with the Greater Ballistic Knowledge and More Eloquently can say it than i could ever put into words that's why I love the .25 Cal and once You master the Rifle and pellet combo and practice the trajectory it's superb up to realistic ranges for Me with My set up 50 yards for hunting but i can target shoot out to 60 yards but it's near the bottom of My scope at 60 yards . Take a look at Teds Hold over on Utube and he does a lovely comparison between .22 and .25 both do the job but as would .177 or .20, So quite happy, Cheers Si for the better Explanation atvb Daz 7.

I Personally like the .25 Cal and that's Why i bought it, Calibre is an individuals choice some like .177, .20, .22 or .25 makes no difference has long as your happy and confident they can all hit Target if you perform as well. My TTR 1 is zeroed at 25 yards, and i hunt out to 50 yards with My rifles preferred ammo the .25 cal H & N FTT hitting with 19.91 gr smacks with more kinetic retained energy so lights out if i do My bit correctly, But i also shoot .177 and .22 and as long as your accurate it don't make much difference what cal You have. i just like shooting all cals . atvb

would love a Bushy tactical FFP but price being the factor also for the price of the Falcons and Barska's they have got to be the Best FFP scopes for their price. Looked at the lightstream FFP but at £500 and the front focus ring also put me off as i like side focus now. atvb Daz 7. -

My Barska Tactical is Spot on, don't know about the rest of the Range but Mine is superb, Was told about them by an Ex Army Sniper on the Rapid Forum and the two makes he goes for are the Falcons and Barska especially for Price wnen compared to the Bushnell Tactical FFP at nearly a Grand , Got My Barska for £135 off evil bay has the lad who sold it on there bought a new centre fire rifle with it attached but he all ready had a scope costing over a grand to put on it atvb Daz 7 -
First focal plane scopes

I've Got 3 FFP Scopes , 1. Falcon Menace FFP 4 - 14 x 44 EMD Reticle, 2. Falcon Menace FFP 5.5 - 25 x 50 B20 ir Reticle, 3. Barska Tactical FFP 6 - 20 x 50 Mildot ir Reticle, Absolutely Love them, As long as You zero on Full Mag x at Your chosen zero range then the Mildots will be the same throughout the Mag x range. My Favourites at the Moment is the Barska and the B20 Falcon, both with fine reticles but the Barska is lighter, As that's the only problem with the Falcons is their weight because their built to be used by Centre fire and sniper rifles . atvb Daz 7. -
Congratulations Archie bud But does this also qualify You to Tron and Rogers Old Duffers Club atvb Daz 7 p.s Love Your Avatars

As Elliott as Mentioned My HW 77 K with the Quality but hefty Falcon Menace atop it makes the HW Feather light so if the Noodle arms Brigade struggle with the they've got no Chance with the 77  Give My regards to Your good Woman Simon bud, On Her Excellent choice of first time Spring Gun Legend which is the and in .22 Cal as well  atvb Daz 7. -

Standard Rapid Bottles You won't need to change the valves Has the Rapid can take the R10 200 buddy bottle without alteration, Unless it's a MFR type valve fitted which is generally 280 but there are some 400's out there. But You can get the standard Rapid buddy bottles in 280, 400, 500, but You will need to alter the stockwork slightly. atvb Daz 7.

opinions please : airwolf vs huntsman xl
Daz 7 replied to riflehunter583's topic in General Airgun Discussion
If i had to get a Gaystate, It would be the Airwolf, Better shot count and heavier than the huntsman as i hate light rifles The Huntsman is a very Pretty little gun ideal if You have Noodle Arms both as accurate as each other, But the Airwolf is more substantial and some cracking technology, Plus it looks more like a Rapid . atvb Daz 7. -
To True Billy bud I've got 2 , My other guns come and Go i've had 3 different springers in 6 months. But these pair of Rapids are Keepers . atvb Daz 7.

always a handy bit of kit for zero and open spaces, i just don't use in woodland areas. atvb daz 7.
-
I mainly Use a Range finder over open land when there aren't to many land marks as the Space deceives your Visual range finding, But hardly use it in woodlands as Acuspell as said with all the Branches and Twigs and the messing around the Tree Rat or Corvid, Pigeon will have moved, Just have to rely on Gut instinct for Range. atvb Daz 7.
