i prefer lamprey mostly on the bottom or mackrel alot of blood seps out and pike thrive on smell

this might sound silly but i got a bit o permision with going to farms with terriers and asking if they had rat problems while lamping the rats at night i would shine across the fields if there were bunnies about i would gradualy ask if there was any chance of a bit o ferreting leading to a bit lamping with the lurchers if he sees your doing a job with the rats he owes you a favour build a friend ship with him and pop question 9 times out o 10 its not a problem but you might not have terriers ?

hows the dog getting on mate i have similar problems -
he was helping us out movin the bails way tractor and jumping out now and again when loads came out at once we had a good day

was at a local farm today with the old russells age between 11 - 14 had a great day all in between big yins and pinkies we had well over 100

9.45 everything fine first couple o fields got a good coule o runs then the feckin fog came down any one else have same prob tonight

decided to have a walk across some local feilds tonight way ma boy 13 year old and loves it so we get on over the first couple o feilds then he gets 1 on the beam a good 300 yards out so start walking down to it then the dog starts pulling it had come running in for cover sliped and got it so through the next feild and get another then cut thrugh hedge wire to batteri gets snags pullwires out that was end of night home bound am gutted

my dog was like that mate i cut it down to short runs then gradualy a bit longer she is spot on now

my eyes are fillin up just reading this mate as i had a dog just like yours went everywhere way me at 17 she still came for short walks and still stayed at a rabbit hole to let me no there were something in it rip the old dogs.

like catcher said mate the dog is still a pup and wants its play time with its catch my bitch does it with the first couple she picks up then she comes in to me but try not walking out to your dog sit back and let her come to you

apart from seeing plenty on lamp i work on a golf course and the c**ts walk about like dogs i have pictures feeding them midget gems
