    i can think of better dogs to use on deer jai dogs for jobs comes to mind fox rabbit hares knock ups yes beddy grey i run a whippet beddy big type 22tts he will do a job on the above but dont think he would stop a deer unless he mugged it lol

    have run my dog on hard and rough ground think it gets them thinking for there self working it out i can run mine any were he soon sorts it out every one is different with dogs and starting them dont matter as long as there filling the bag and enjoy doing it

    What the f**k was that all about. You need a whippet for that sort of ground fella that dog was too big very lucky it didnt snap a leg. Dog was game tho give it that I have to agree.. why anyone would want to do that to a pup is beyond my way of rational thinking..but i don't agree on a whippet is needed for that land..i have ran experienced 25/ 26 1/2 mut's on far worse land than that with no problem....but doing it with a pup.. thought it was dead on the last tumble better land to run a pup on than that the lad with the lamp knew the dog was going to be in trouble tried to stop it g
