    mate of mine was cleaning the spoil out put his hand in and BANG charlie had him on the hand never heard a man squeal like it lol we thought it was great three days later his hand was like a ballon not funny :sick:

    what youll find is on a steep banking youll get say a mark at 2mtr go lower down the banking and get one say at 1.2 trench in 90 deg and your bang on the dog if you were on something like this you'ed have to move the soil so best go lower and trench in sure it has something to do with the signal from the collar have got down to the terrier on flater places only to find the tube isnt below but of to the side of the dig

    got to agree with you p3d put the soil above you on a steep bank and your askin for trouble personally when on a steep slope we norm put the soil on the sides of the dig and below us, depending on the deapth of the dig you know how far to sling it back

    thats the norm for me only jesting pal. how deep? all shovel work? how long? was it a rescue or a dig to a terrier working? edited to say,that look nice ground to dig,mine is all flint,chalk and clay combined. I don't know exactly how deep this dig was ( before B&F ) It went of the box and more than 28 feet Everything by hand and took us 2 days!! The deeper we got, the harder it became It was a rescue dig to a working terrier! 28ft is a fair deapth on its own a good result and a job well done

    would have been some shovel work and take alot for the terrier too. certainly would of been a tester and im sure she would have stayed the duration if needed. feeling sorry for herself at the moment. truth be told that dig if it had happened would have at least taken 2-3 days with the digger being safe thats without the handdigging wouldnt have been a dig more like a rescue earth you up for a challage?

    I'm guessing you didn't try the pups then . no but he tried my patience going on about the depth plus his wife said he could have done with the exercise .. not a place to visit too often you could have done with taking tigerdog2 with you mate, he'd have dug her out in no time . At least you got a result, well done. would have dug it ourselfs if it hadnt have bolted would have took us a while but would have got there in the end

    was out today on some partidge ground of earth who was asked by the keeper to try 3 woods on the eatate. first place we came accross is a decent earth 6 holes maybe but regulary holds last sesson we managed 9 reduns from here was a bit straight forward dog marked to ground,mark at 1.9 dug to and despatched humainaly and back fill.the second a bit different ,looking at the entrances size ect of the place you would have thoght 2.0 max!but it is quite a rangy place 3 earths connected into one, so terrier entered had a bit of a run about at first then found,located her 3.0 on the b/f and decided
