    id say lakeland or patterdale then russels make good allrounders but lakes and pats are keener for groundwork and easier to enter,ive got a patt,a lakey and a russell i like them all,had borders years ago and never rated them myself very temperamental and sulky,atb

    had both crosses myself,both types are very similar in working bigger quarry just ones hairy,would say about equal myself two of the best types of lurcher id say,anybody had a mix of the two?

    reckon a small lurcher and youl have a little team to work terrier flushing and summit faster for what bolts from cover you should have some good sport mate

    cant see the point either myself,why not have a pure dog if you want somthing that bullish,i no they tend to fight with quarry in my experience rather than kill it and do take punishment more but thats cos there gamer,had a pure dog alot of years ago just under 25 inch that took big stuff on the lamp,but coudnt catch out else,but when fired up would take dogs also so each to there own,rather stick to less bull myself

    because you get the ultimate allround hunting machine thats why,bull x is the ultimate big quarry dog that gives its all to catch if you dont like them dont have them i cant see the point in bedlingtonx whipets or bed x greyhounds why x a poodle italion greyhound to make a lurcher but no lads that swear by them each to there own,ive had most crosses over the years deerhound,wheaton,collie,bed and saluki but been a converted to the bull x for years,and dont think il change back ATB

    cheers for reply dont get much ward stuff nowadays,only ever had a white lakeland many years ago which was bred by middleton she was not the best worker but heard mixed reports about middleton stuff gonna put a pic of my dog on later mate ATB

    ive been using alpha for about 3 months and my dogs look in A1 condition,also seem to have a good solid crap off it,tried loads over the years but think il stick with this food,try it you wont be dissapointed,atb

    why not,,? cos they get bored bark chew and escape and kill cats etc,the desire to work is in them,thats why you often see ads for lakelands etc,around ayear with stuff like to energetic,new job atb

    just wondered if you have to line jills,my jill has been in season a while but i dont want kits and dont no anybody else with ferrets,i used to ferret when i was young,many moons ago and bought my jill,slim last year shes been great this season and if they wont bolt she comes out as shes only small and has never even tried to nip me even when fired up working,any advice please atb

    i just bought in a middleton lines dog not showy just a worker,never seen or had much to do with this line,anybody got pics of these dogs,they seem to have alot of ped blood in them?by the coat type im over the moon with my new dog,tried him twice and hes found in minutes and seems steady away,hes biggish at 17 and a half lbs but i can span him and have smallish hands,il get some pics sorted of him,i think im converted lol
