I've an s200, but I'm changing to a high power (ukfac) fx cyclone and that's what I'll be getting the reg in.
-
Thinking of getting a regulator fitted, thing is I'm irish and no one over here really specializes in air rifles, my rifle is sub 12ft/lb but over here it's a firearm that requires a licence and over there it's not, so there'd be a few hoops to jump through and a lot of hassle to get it sent to the uk, so my question is, what exactly is needed to fit a reg, I'm thinking all that's needed is the air cylinder and I could post that without the hassle of paperwork etc, any feedback appreciated thanks.

Please sign and share where ever you can, if 5 or 6 ICABS terrorists can get 1000 signatures we should be able to get 10,000, thanks

ICABS have recently had a petition and succeeded to have hunting and shooting magazines restricted to over 18's, and relegated to the top shelf along with porn in Eason's bookstores, please sign this petition to have it reversed, thanks. https://www.change.org/p/those-who-hunt-and-shoot-for-a-living-and-pleasure-reverse-the-top-shelf-restriction-by-easons-on-hunting-shooting-magazines?recruiter=43491351&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=share_facebook_responsive&utm_term=des-lg-share_petition-custom_msg&fb_ref=Default

Thanks Neil, I'm answering my own question here but basically what I did was, I cocked the rifle(unloaded) and wound in the 2nd stage screw until the rifle fired, then I backed the screw out maybe an eigth to a quarter of a turn and recocked it unloaded to make sure it didn't fire when cocking it. It's a nice light crisp single stage trigger now!!!

Hi all, I got my new s200 today, everythings good but I'm not too fond of the trigger, the 1st stage is to heavy so it goes off before I feel a stop for the second stage, it's like a mushy single stage trigger with a lot of creep if that makes any sense, I'd prefer the first stage to be nice and light so I can feel a definate stop when the second stage comes in and then a crisp break. The manual says not to go near the first stage setting so I'm unsure whether I should try to adjust it or not, and whether the adjustment screw for it will actually lighten the pull weight, or just shorten the cr

Ruger KM77VT, .223rem, 1in9 twist, 20 inch barrel, topped with a bushnell elite and an ase ultra mod, painted it myself.

In laymans terms its an inch(1.047 inches to be exact) at 100yards 2inches at 200yards and so on and so on, if someone says they have a half minute rifle it means it'll shoot half an inch at 100yards an inch at 200yards and so on and so on

are you sure there are rabbits there pal? how do you know? sometimes it appears that there are definitely rabbits in the warren and there isn't. Do you use a marking dog? If they are young ferrets you might be throwing them in at the deep end a little if you're trying to work big warrens. My advice would be either get out with someone experienced, use a dog that you know will mark well so you know for a fact the rabbits are there, or if neither of these are available get out there at first light with your ferrets, walk up to the rabbits so you actually see them going to ground and the

I'm having a terrible time with my two ferrets, I've put them down hundreds of holes where I know there's rabbits, they're in and out all over the place and I never get a bolt or a kill I can dig to, its a mystery to me whats going on underground, are they just ignoring rabbits or what? I mean they're ferrets ffs you'd think if they see a rabbit they'd naturally try and kill the fcuking thing. I remember a 7 or 8 month old hob kit I had years ago within an hour of putting him to ground he was murdering rabbits all round him. The fella I got my jill from had the guts of 40 ferrets he was br

gary.l replied to Polkey's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Sounds like you found a good one, have you had fells before to compare to? No its my first terrier, we had a jack russells around the house years ago though they weren't short of a braincell or two. -
The Nick Stevens one is a good read imo.

What's The Most Intelligent Breed Of Terrier?
gary.l replied to Polkey's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
I can't really speak for other terrier breeds but this fell pup I have is as clever as any gundog or lurcher I've ever owned, it took me about 2minutes to teach him "sit" and "down", the amount of words that I have to spell out when talking to the Mrs. like dinner/breakfast/lead/walk/dish to save him from going nuts is unreal, he'd talk to ya, proper little character -

Doe's Anyone Take Their Terriers Jogging?
gary.l replied to gary.l's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
yeah thanks, i was reading that so long as they don't have fcuked up(crufts)airways like pugs and boxers they should be ok. -
Are they able for it? I go for a run most days, its a pain having to go again to walk the dog when I could be killing two birds with the one stone. I'll probably just jog some/walk some, see what he's able for and build him up to it but I'd like to hear from anyone who takes their's.

Ha ha, I'd say you have your hands full with that little bitch, she's a lovely pup best of luck with her.
