these just broke 30 lbs. the patt behind them weighs 17lbs. a big coon can be very deceiving until you actually put a scale on it.

scooter are you 7' 2" ? i've taken over 800 coons with terriers and never broke the 36lb mark. i know some fellas from the dakotas also looking for the mystical 40 lb coon, they havent found him yet either.

good flat shooting cartridge. i have taken several coyotes @ the 400 yd range, should do well for your foxes. been shooting factory hornady ammo with 40 gr v-max varmit loads

96 dog worked coons? or 96 coons taken? how many dogs were you working?

the red dog in the 1st pic. he is 13 lbs in shape. shell kept a pair of females from the last litter that will be smaller (i think ) than him.

gonna have to call B.S on bobcats being tough,yes sharp claws,and teeth but great big pushovers most flee than fight and the ones that stay and do battle lose with a terrier of any grit. they are light skinned and give up the ghost easily compared to a coon.
