Thanks for that reply, this is the sort of feedback that might help him . Because let's be fair after a year or so of working on your lurcher it's hard to just start again.

It's a shame because she had everything going for her . Her first real season just gone and picking up rabbits day and night and with out with the ferrets and all good. So what would you do with her !!

A good friend has a lovely litter of terriers 5 weeks old and his lurcher bitch who is only 18 months old her self gets in to the kennel and kills 3 of the pups !! I not looking for people to say "you should of kept them away " Would you keep the bitch !!

Thought i'd come on and ask advice to see if anyone has come across this and if there is any come back . I'll start by telling you what happened to my old dog (8 1/2 yrs old) . Took him out for a run the other night on the lamp with another dog, slipped them both on a rabbit - within a 100 yards my dog has gone down screaming and spinning on his back legs ( like he broke his back ) my first thought was that the other dog has collided with him and done his legs or worse . do you not struggle to see these 3 and 4 min runs in ireland every week or do you get them all the time i used to get them now and again of an old red bitch i got for free wish i could get 1 as good as her again . Well the net has arrived today , so out to get some practice with it over the next few weeks and hopefuly get good enough to get some fish ? If not keep a look out in the for sale bit for a cheap cast net

Funny that , the only one i'v ever seen was near Aveimore . I was on my way to Cairngorm mountineI was on a bus looking out and saw it on a bird table .
