    I dont use a filter on the lens , i did look at using the polarizing filter off my canon slr but I need to get an adapter for it which I havent has yet I had a problem with the first camera and got a replacement thankfully so I'm getting a filter and adapter for this new one to protect the lense

    Fabulous pics I went and got the sx50 after I read what camera you were using and your comments, can I ask do you use a filter to protect your lense/ type of filter etc ????

    Thankyou Andy I'm loving your pics as well up the hills, they can be quite dramatic this time of year But not quite as dramatic as your shirt....... I'll be taking the shirt with me mate when I start hitting the hills again, mountain rescue will find me nae bother
