  1. Thank's guys. Just been up late afternoon bit of a drive for the sake of an hour and half but excitement got to much for me. Met the ground keeper and spent abit of time walking around and having a coffee with him. The permission is 19 acres roughly not huge but not to small. Plenty to have a go at he reckond theres a good couple of hundred around the place. Not much out today with the weather, not been great but seen a pheasant and a hand full of bunnies. The guy had found a few nets this morning it turned out someone had been poaching this morning. We left without having a shoot but
  2. Me and my brothering law have spent countless hours trying to get permission for shooting our air rifles over the last few months. Getting up at stupid oclock trying to catch the farmers out in fields. Knocking on doors and getting turned away sometimes doors more or less slammed in our faces. Just over a week or so we had a camping Trip heading up to the dales, then lake district for a night and then over to north yorkshire. From start to finnish it was a nightmare it started raining the second we left home and was consistant through out the three days away. We hit farm after farm with n

  5. Ok so after reading everyones post's again, i think perhaps the best thing would be for me to take the site down. As i stated this was not trying to take buisness, effect anyone in anyway shape or form. It was purely to help us gain some shooting permission, theory been if we helped with other things we may find a farmer happy to let us shoot on there land. Just been a little to creative perhaps Anyway again sorry to those that work in the field!! D6K the image is off your site yes, but i did find it on google images. Atb Gaz
  6. I was guna do flyers with the website on, not aiming for people to really search! Just more visit the farmer, leave a card and if they are interested they can look us up for more info. I never meant to offend anyone or small buisness with this it's just another way of trying to get our selfs out there.
  7. Yes ron it is another way of getting shooting permission, let's be fair it's hard for some to get access so we put this together to see if this would help. One of the lads has an Fac licence he would deal with fox, certainly not air rifles. As for the moles this is what service a friend does for free in return for shooting permission on a golf coarse.
  8. I agree!! All due respect who gives a !! If your not doing anything ilegal then it shouldnt really matter who is looking!! One forum open or all, doesnt really matter

  20. Just to put my two cents in... We took the day off work today to try get permission, spent 8 hours traveling around west and north yorkshire. We had no joy what so ever in getting any, this service been offered free and on whatever terms the landowner wanted. We offered to pay an annual fee to a couple of the landowners that seemed interested but still nothing. A couple did take details but only as a back up. There is that many people at it, you just need to be grateful of anything you can get. Good luck with the golf club atb Gaz
  21. Check out posts from MickeyK theres not lots but he got some wicked infor from lots of people on this site. Very interesting and informative, sure it will definately get you going. atb Gaz
  22. Yup we visited over 20 farms through out the day and spoke to numerous people covering both west yorkshire and north yorkshire. After Mickey posted we then visited a few local and nothing. Alot had people already seeing to land or just werent interested. We did have one guy who wanted us to deal with his mole problem using traps but never done that kind of work. The same guy has offered us the odd day here and there in the up and coming months, but said thats all it would be as he didnt want to his regular guy off.. which is fare enough we dont wanna step on anyone elses toes.
