i reckon what a load of old bollocks letting wolves into the highlands,were only a small island as it is let alone the size of the highlands and wolves roam and look at the size of Yellowstone national park its about as big as the half of Scotland!,and they still exit the park.

Oh a fellow Golden Eagle austringer (berkutchi),did he have a male or female Goldie?,and did he hunt with it? im of to Wales hunting with my Goldie in the Black Mountains soon...

There is no such thing of an average hunting/flying weight!,in the UK different races have been put together and so you could have a hare killing female eastern Red Tail doing the bussines at just over the 3lb mark and another female hunting at 2lb 4oz! Just thought id add to this thread becouse i heared this morning that one guy i know has dropped his Red female so low that her blood sugar levels dropped and she collapsed becouse he listerned to a prat in Lincs (you know who you are) who is meant to have a centre saying his female was to fat becouse she would not chase and that it should

The "Erneb" or desert hare does go to ground like Blue hares do,and Arab falconers have told me that the "erneb" is more a difficult quarry in the empty quatre than Houbara Bustard,and they run salukis with their falcons. And could a classic longdog course a gazelle in those conditions?,and the course would often occupy fifteen minutes or so and in that time cover some kilometers.

Rabbits i can get a massive 75p if their skinned and paunched and Hares are £3 and theyve got to be over 3lb in weight gutted and they all get exported to Holland,Germany!,same with wild shot venison ie roe and muntjac. None stays in this country! ,the UK households imho are missing out.

its such a nice feeling walking two miles with over a pint of shitty ditch water in youre welli's! ,been there and done that jumping dykes,feels worse with a 7lb male Goldie on youre fist and walking like you shat youreself

Dont get Harrises into a routine,my friends tiercel Harris started screaming as he only ever flew it in late afternoons so once it had cast early in the morning it would be on the bow perch getting hungria and hungria,i said to him to try flying in the morning and now hes almost 95% non vocal but if you want to make sure youre harris doesnt scream ,get a Red Tail!!!

In Oz they use pure Ridgeback's for finding wild pigs and Fox in partnership with either a staghound or deerhound running dog.But they keep Ridgebacks pure.

They are a handfull = period! And i cant see a 2lb and a bit Harris etc holding a 20lb + Munty its fiction.Ive taken a small 17lb Munty buck with my imprint male Golden and he took it very well but these storys of Harrises,Red Tails taking them no way. Ive good footage from Czech Republic of male and female Golden Eagles hunting Roe Deer on VHS.
