    I waited 11 weeks on my F A C coming through mate, I have heard of people waiting 7/8 months and also people waiting 4 weeks. My mate waited 7 months on his and he phoned up only to be told it had been sent out 2 months prior, he then questioned his wife who said " I think thats up in the cupboard " :realmad:

    I understand what you are saying mate but if I was to buy say a .243 .308 or 65/55 centrefire I would certainly not hesitate on spending big bucks on a more superior scope, then it would come into its own playing field.

    Hello Nod, your probably correct about the CCIs but for 5p each they,ll do for messing about. The Eley subs and Winchester, I dont know the price but it wont matter if they do the job. Hi John, the scope was £55 (certainly not expensive) but the clarity and magnification is exceptional, and as you said its only on a rimmy. I.ll try and pit up a picture of the set up.

    Looking forward to getting crack out of it. Just completed the rifle today by adding new bipod, 9 to 13inch adjustable legs, Harris lookalike brand new £35, well pleased. Bought 300 CCI minimags (£5/100), 50 Federal shot shells £9.50/50 and he threw me in 50 Eley subsonic hollow and 50 Winchester T22 so have plenty of choice to play with

    I just got my new rifle today and am looking forward to trying it out. It is a CZ 452 American .22LR fitted with an Optik RF3.9x40 adjustable scope and SAK moderator. The whole package brand new cost me £420. What are your views

    Im not sure that you can mate, you are not supposed to have any weapon in your hands until 16. Look up the Firearms Act Northern Ireland website and it will tell you everything.

    Hello young lad, the law in Northern ireland states you must be 18 to apply for a F.A.C. to shoot on your own (the 1st 6 months you have to be supervised by someone aged 21 or over who has held a similar weapon for 3 years) then you can be on your own. At 16 you can apply for your own F.A.C. for a friend or family members air rifle/ shotgun on loan from them, but you must never be alone with it, you must be supervised at all times until you come 18.     Have a Lightforce Striker 170, brilliant lamp but find the plugs (fittings) shit, and also have one of the old Clulites, brilliant lamp, when I say OLD I mean it has a small secondary bulb, like a torch for opening gates or climbing fences etc, my mate bought a new Clulite but it didn,t come with the secondary bulb.

    John boy, my uncle has a very small farm, 26 acres but is plagued by foxes which I have the pleasure of controlling them. He has not a clue where they enter the farm, but as soon as he sees one he is on the blower to me. Then we can retrace the foxes steps and find out where they entered but it aint by no way a regular pattern. They seem to appear from every angle

    Definately go for the big one mate. I know they say 3 gun, 5 gun, 7 gun etc but you try to put 5 guns into a 5 gun cabinet and it is a tight squeeze.
