  1. Was on internet there, some views on there, mostly good. Priced in and around £600/£700
  2. Never heard off them mate, who makes them?
  3. At one point I used CCI minimags for bunnies in my CZ452 but they were hard to get around me so I started using RWS which group even tighter so I now only use those. The CCI 1600 fps are only for foxes for me (if I was going to use supersonic on rabbits, I'd just buy a .17HMR). I've had 4 foxes on a night out lamping bunnies now. Like I said. I simply load a 5 shot mag with them just in case and swap the mags over if I catch one in the lamp. I have it quite lucky though because the RWS and the segmented zero the same with a drop difference of about an inch at 50-60 yards. Some goo
  4. Hi cetic crusader, just wondering why they wouldn,t work in a semi auto?
  5. Hi Bunny boiler, they are 1640fps 32 grain, haven't tried them on foxy yet, but would have no hesitation on doing so if he was at a sensible range. I know the wee hollow points are around £6/100 and the segmented are twice that ie £6/50. Have you hit foxy with them yet?
  6. Hi, delswal, I usually just use CCI Mini Mag hollow points with good results, but those segmented rounds are something else!
  7. Hi, I recently bought box of CCI Segmented HP hollow point ammo for my .22 CZ 452 American. Unbelievable round. Rabbit head shots out to 100 yards are not a problem with unbelievable damage. Anyone else tried these and what is your opinion?
  8. You picked up a bargain there mate, nothing wrong with Tikka T3
  9. Hello, my mate has a Howa .223 and has no problem with it at all. The complete package ie rifle, scope and moderator can be bought new for less than £1,000
  10. Nice one pal, pups born soon will be just the right age to enter at the start of next season (Oct 14) good luck.
  11. Hello mate, pups and mum doing well. Sorry to hear about your situation but some people are just unbelievable. I know you have the pick of the litter but still it will be on your mind ,WHAT IF. I would rather a bitch had a small litter and kept them all as having a large litter and losing some.
  12. Last season my 3 year old springer bitch really came on leaps and bounds in the shoot, doing everything correct so when she came into season this time I decided to take a litter of pups out of her. My mate has a really good working dog so I decided to use him to serve her. The pups were due on monday 13th May (just past) so from friday 10th we keep a close a eye on her. On sunday 12th at 10 30pm my son came in and said that the 1st pup was born but Misty was running around the pen panicing and the pup was yelping. I went out and took the pup off her and settled her down and sat with her to 1
  13. NO DRINK OR SING SONG ON BUS NOT A BIT OF WONDER ,ITS NOT LOURDES WERE GOING. Why is it when someone trys to do something positive theres always one that has to bad mouth it before it starts. 14. Well done Sam and Neil, this is what is needed in Ireland both north and south. I see already we have something like 62 affiliated clubs in the south and 9 in the north and hopefully after Shanes and Birr those numbers will increase dramatically. Remember the old saying UNITED WE STAND,
  15. I have 5 chokes for sale to fit Browning Fusion Gold Semi Automatic £10 each. If interested send me a message CHEERS
  16. What pissed me off was how they differed between urban foxes and rural foxes, they said urban foxes feed on food left out for them and takeaway leftovers and scavenging, but rural foxes thrive on earthworms and the OCCASIONAL rabbit. What about the lambs, chickens, pheasants, ducks etc.
  17. 10 or 12 years ago the Liberty and Livelyhood march saw 471,000 people march through London in defiance of a ban on fox hunting in England. Those people came from England, Scotland, Wales, N.Ireland, S.Ireland and further afield .Maybe a similar march through Belfast would make the Politicions in Stormount and Mr Sh_tepott sit back and take notice. Sh_tepott is calling for a ban on ALL terrior work be it legitimate or not. Good luck with the club Stopend, cant wait to see it up and running.
  18. Take a sound bit of advice mate, plenty of people start having problems with their shotguns so they decide to get rid of them. they take them to a dealer and trade them in. The dealer will sell you the gun{unknown to him} and then you have just bought someone elses problem. Demand to try the gun 1st and put a couple of boxes of cartridges through it and THEN make up your mind.
  19. I have shot plenty of cubs outside their den with the old .22rimmy, probably 30/40 yards away stone dead, but in reality I could have done that with the old 12gauge. The .22 is a brilliant rifle but don,t over estimate it.
  20. Hello pal, in Northern Ireland your brother in law is NOT permitted to do referee, it may be different where you come from, but check it out first. Good luck
  21. Cheers Jack, I,ll speak to the mate and see how we go.The last I heard Hes shooting plenty of rabbits with the rifle and loves it so I,ll let you know how we get on. Thanks
