  2. I have to agree with Watchman on this one,If a fox IS going to come in to a call, most decent calls will do the job, however if foxy says no then no matter what call you have it wont change his mind. The most obvious reason for this is he has been called before and spooked.
  3. i thought you needed a fac for anything over 3 shots ? Hello mate, in Northern Ireland a shotgun is on a Firearms Certificate. No such thing as a Shotgun Certificate. The little 4.10 was a bolt action and not semi automatic. Cheers
  4. I personly dont think much of the 30grm 6s clear pigeon, I had exactly the same problem as you. I switched to 32grm 6s Eley super game and what a difference it made, couldn,t believe it. Good luck.

  6. Hi Fitchet, I had a little 4.10 up to recently (mostly for the young lad). It was a stevens 58 (I think) bolt action, 6 shot. Excellent for sitting on a stool in the middle of a farmyard popping off the rats that ventured out of every nook and cranny. Ammo can be expensive though.

On tuesday morning I left the kids to school at 8.10am and on the way home I noticed a fox standing at the top of a field 2 fields away from home.I drove past a bit and turned and parked just shy of where I saw it. I got out and started to call with just my hand on my mouth and immedietly foxy showed interest. I knew from experience if I called this fox down too close to me he would catch on and I would blow my chances of a shot later on. I went home and got the old camo,s on, lifted the beretta 303 and a handful of 36grm Eley BBs and headed up the back fields to approach him from a different
