  1. Well lads (and lassies) the young lad worked it out himself and is now posting away under the name Younggun, he is only 14 and loves hunting and shooting, I,m sure he will be posting some good posts once the season starts for real come september
  2. Again pal I can only speak of what I heard, other members will have their say. Escort semis are cheap to buy new and the old addage is you get what you pay for.
  3. Hello mate, I have a beretta 303 semi and a browning fusion gold semi which are ideal for foxing but you would need around £500/£600 for either second hand. I use the 1/2 choke for the simple reason it is a good all rounder, i.e. foxy could be bolting from a terrier 15/20 yards away from me or he could be 30/40 yards away fleeing from hounds. As for cartridges, you need to move up to at least 36grm loads of say BBs.Good Luck, hope this helps. thanks mate whats the max range i could be looking at with a shotgun Tom Tom mate, I have heard stories of foxes being dropped at 50

  5. Nice shooting pal, 225yds is a helluva shot, the .223 is a superb fox rifle. Most foxes around here would be at a guess 16lb so 23lb must be a monster, well done.
  6. Well done mate on getting one off them, the 223 is an excellent foxing rifle, out to 200 yards + no problem. Good luck with the rest.
  7. why would you keep the dog in your kennel and why did you not return it to the rightfull owner .? sorrie Mr but imo your not any better than a dog thief if you buy a stolen dog What are you talking about man? Did you read my post at all? Read it again and this time you might grasp that I bought the dog honestly for £50 off the rightful owner, the 2 dogs were stole from me. i am sorrie sir ,i misunderstand you Thanks mate, apology accepted :friends:

  9. I have been posting on the forums a month or so now and my young lad has ask me how he can get started. I am not the most clever computer whizkid and cant find out how he can get started so please give me some advice. THANKS
  10. All I can say is any dog thief is scum. ( No apologies ) Back nearly 30 years ago my dad and I had a few decent russels and I dug a few times with a guy who had a hell of a good russel dog which I offered him good money for many times but he refused. 1 sunday night I got a knock on my door and it was your man standing with the russel and he offered me the dog for £50, that was a lot of money then but I knew the dog was worth it so I bought the dog there and then. I kennelled the dog with our good bitch and thought Happy days. I came home the following wednesday evening from work and the good
  11. Both replies are correct mate, a 3" cartridge must not be fired from anything less than a 75mm chambered gun, a gun chambered for 70mm cartridges must only fire 2 3/4" or less. % of my shooting is foxes and have never found any need to use the 3" stuff anyway, they are expensive too. Hope this helps mate.
  12. Well Stephen, any results yet mucker :thumbs-up:
  13. Hello Bellyslater, as Topdown has said, getting one that fits is the most important thing, and no they are certainly not all straight. You could have a few guns through your hands before you find 1 you shoot well with so if you can, try a few first before you buy. Cheers
  14. Hello there Murphymax, I have been reading your post and the replys from the start and dont see anything wrong with what you have done, in fact well done. I would have thought if posting those photos was wrong the Moderaters would have removed them by now. If people dont like them, dont read them. CHEERS Lad

  18. Good Lad no point in trying to throw a 15ft gate son. Why not just shout heya f**k OFF
  19. Not much point in throwing rocks at 3.00am mate, if you are up at that time you might aswell throw some lead from a 12 bore.
  20. Hello there lads, anyone in Northern Ireland know of anyone who has a place to fill for the incoming season of duck shooting, I would be grateful to hear from them. I would be more then happy to pay my way and pull my wieght as far as grafting is concerned. Anywhere considered, CHEERS
  21. 472.000 odd people marched through london a few years ago in support of fox hunting, I wonder how many of these arsewipes will be there, Wankers.
  22. ashphalt(pitch)and limestone powder,bio-degradable ones are available, Cheers Watchman, I would never have thought so.
  23. I have always been under the impression that a clay pigeon was made of clay. . Well tonight we had a barbeque (one of those disposal contraptions) and I set it up on 3 clay pigeons on each corner. An hour or so after we had our fill I went to dispose of the remains and to my surprise the 3 clays on each corner had melted together as if they were actually plastic. What are they made of then?
