Hi i just thought i would just show to some of the disbelievers and to back up Si's claims, I'm just a humble pig farm manager trying to keep the rat population down.I only started shooting early this year and still learning the art of air gun hunting but this is starting to sound who has the biggest d**k, i would welcome anyone to come over to help especially h&h, ratting is good fast action fun . Nice setup mate, any dead rat is a good night but its hard when your are use to shooting high numbers you just expect it ever time well done mark

Thanks for all the comments, for me ratting is so important for the health of the herd and its bloody good fun, its going to be hard to go back to static hunting rabbits after doing 20+ rats in a couple of hours. and Si i will try to save you some bud

Hi all, Friday is starting to be rat night, the weather was awful absolute p**s down i was hoping to get the night vision zero during the day but didn't make it back from work in time. So i just put it on and hoped it was still on zero, a couple of shots at the side of the shed i thought it was close enough so i was on. The big barn is a bit of hot spot for ratus an it didn't disappoint a full mag and about 10 laying dead i couldn't belive how accurate the night vision was by putting back on the rifle without zeroing it ,i did try to put back on in same place so on i went for a little wal

Hi all, Just got the hw97k back from sandwell field sports well I'm not disappointed after a zero she was dead on well apart from the trigger being a little bit keen, i nearly shot the cat ! I think it still needs a few tweaks to the trigger but the action is so smooth on cocking loverly. The only thing while i was in at sandwell i got tony to chorno my 100 cos i am using chair gun pro and Ive got my first HFT comp at the weekend and it was not quite making 11ft ld i was hoping for a little bit more Tony said it was fine but 11.5 makes a big difference on chair gun pro is it worth adju

Hi i went for a 3 lt because im a bit of a pussy but i wish id gone for the 7lt the 12 is ok if your not humping it about much but you get more for your money the bigger you go and it cost the same to fill a 3lt costs the same as 12lt never can realy understand that, but when i was looking for mine GO DIVE was the cheapest found it on internet real good service as well.

Hi all who helped Owen out, he was over the moon with the responce especially zini WOW you should of seen his face . I wish he had left telling me till i was out of bed this morning but no just ran in and jumped on to the bed, it will go to a good home so thanks again and im sure he would love to do a bit of shooting with you. As i said to you before he is a hell of a shot the other week he won the junior trophy for clay pigeon shooting sporting i think, then at the weekend he shot a better group with my gun than i did, 10 shot group in 15mm hole (little bugger i thought) with the HW100 i w

Hi Davey, Nice little rat shoot so were was my invite lol. pointer and half&half both have valid points, but Ive seen rats drag them selfs off up to 3 meters or so before curling up and dying but that is enough time to get back to a hole i only count the dead and the defo hits when they drag off. On a good shoot i usually pick up two thirds off the kill or more . When Dave was with us the other week when we nailed about 90 in one night the picture there was 57 but the next day i found another 10 and the others i was not able to get. PS. Hi guys, It being a while since I've posted but this is the third time I've tried to up date this post it keeps crashing so finger crossed. I've not really shot in at leased 6 weeks, work and family keeping me busy but that lack of shooting in conjunction with the rats coming in from the fields and the weather on the turn the rats have ballooned to epic proportions. Eating my expensive pig food which some costing up to £1100/ton, but have decided to use my JCB loader as a home and eating there way through the wiring loom which they did twice in a week costing over £500 and all the down t

So i got the hw97k out to compare the same pellets 10 shots again and after five shots all touching the other five was going in the hole. Ive being a bit frustrated with it to be honest is it me or is there some thing wrong also how low can you go on air before it affects consistence? the g

Hi mate, I agree with all that has being said also changing what time you go out if going to the same permission after a few night at they seem to be a bit hesitant to come out at that time. Rats are not stupid and will wait till it feels right.Using food what they are use to eating as bait seems to work as well as anything. I love my night vision its like shooting fish in a bowl. mark
