    Maybe if they offered it out to tender, for other estates to run, they may drive the price of holding it down, at the minute they only show in a limited amount of grounds, there are plenty of other estates that would maybe compete to get the business, it is in some ways a shame to loose something that did bring the country sport people together, but truth is it got too expensive to take the family, the price paid was unrealistic, greedy in my opinion, I wonder what percentage was paid to the estate owner, and what was charged by the councils, as in who got a cut of the money generated, percent

    Any body know of a good make of electronic flapper, that's worth buying, I would use it mainly on crows but occasionally, get a good day on pigeon, not sure on what make to buy,if some one could point me in right direction,or at least tell which ones you find the best to use,

    hi matey...........with a DSLR it doesnt matter whether you use colour b&w.The main bit is to make sure everything focussed and the apertures right and the shutter speed aint too high or low....and the subjects centred... Oh, and you , ideally, want to be within 8 foot of the action.....ideally. thanks for that, JD what would you say is the right shutter speed? It's never easy if your on your own like me most of the time,trying to hold lamp carrying battery and balancing the phone,but worth trying sometimes, just for the chance of catching a good picture,

    I had my Remington done and love it its now 19 inch long and the handling is massively improved, I thought about the issues of velocity loss, and went back to Reloader 7 powder, from Varget, with the view the faster powder would compensate for the shorter burn area available, also tried the 40 grn vmax instead of my 52 grn hollow points, to be honest there is no noticeable difference, now I am back on Reloader 7, I am happy with the results, but I never fire above 300 yd, and to be honest I havn't had to do that, since I had it cut, but I would be confident if it was needed,my back is bugge
