  1. I quite like, the 'stainless', ones, too,...............They are good I am going to buy more soon, they last far longer than standard traps,
  2. I bought more stainless this year, they are a very good trap needing very little tweaking, the soil around me is generally acidic, the first lot I bought was 6 or 7 yr ago and they are still like new really, there ordinary ones are very good mind but rust very quickly in our soils, if you are starting out I would say get one of there box standard traps, you won't go far wrong, you will have to tweak them mind, good luck,
  3. They do boil quick, it's like anything else if you are going to use it then it's worth the investment, I find it a lot more convenient than normal, stoves, no gas or petrol to carry I stick it in the back of the pickup, and I lives there for a few weeks in spring when I am cutting logs,
  4. Frigging nightmare that import tax, I got screwed on some mole traps,
  5. Correct all I'm saying it's time we did something about it I don't know what but the police don't want to know about it they see it as wasting there time because let's be honest they have more important things to be dealing with, however to us this is important and I just feel not only did the anti win the battle they are now getting away with brutally attacking our own and we're sitting back and watching it happen, maybe have our own organisation like they have where we meet up and follow various hunts around the country with no violence intended but if trouble does come to us we are there to
  6. Yep,but moving them, then makes them a rural problem,
  7. The thing is he has a point, what is the line in the sand, the law regularly fails to protect us, we are seen as a soft target , I have a firm belief, someone high up in plod is on the antis side, I wouldn't advocate violence, but the law does allow a man the right to defend himself, and others, he does not have to wait for a pre-emtive strike, on the other hand are we forcing the police to take action hard enough, we are now a minority, and as such we require protection, these people are extreamists no different than the hate preachers,we can't keep letting our people be assaulted in this way

  14. if there dents do you need to remove it,??? won't they steam out with a hot cloth?
  15. gou will be able to do that from your photo gallery on your phone, if you trim the picture down to 150 mb, I think might be 200 Mb carn't remember now,
  16. and the cap threads mate inside and out,
  17. Under the action on them rifles there's a large screw, with a smaller locking screw, remove them and the barrel and forestock pull forward and come off, as far as I remember,
  18. Walshie's right, I have had two anshutz seml auto's and they are good guns, the older one was the best/ most accurate in my opinion, but ammo temperamental, inside the clip it's a long thin spring, they can rust and bind to the inside of the clip, give it a good clean, if you get into the action, watch that bolt return spring its long, and a twat to refit, I drilled a hole in the guide pin, then threaded the spring on, and held it in place, with a peice of wire pushed through the coils, and into the hole, doing that made strip down and rebuild a doddle
  19. good offer mate but i am affraid you were not first in the queue its been given to another member off here who contacted me first. it wasnt about the money mate or else i would have put a price on it.good man

  21. Welcome mate, there's enough people on Here to advise you with your lurcher,
  22. You will find it hard to pull fault with a brno or cz, brilliant little rifles, keep away from micro grooved barrels, if it looks battered it is, check the rifleing, look down the barrel, if it's clean and the rifleing is crisp, you are there, be wary if there's a silencer and scope, the silencer try to avoid the Parker hale, not beacause there's any fault as such with them, but the newer silencers are better, ( the old Parker hales need more maintenance ) the scopes well I would always put a new scope on, Bruno's or cz are 2 a penny they are the workhorse of the rf market and rightly so,
