  1. Anything that would help mate, thanks for the kind offer
  2. Jiggy, the bloody prescription charge is a fortune, which makes it not viable, them vets are crooks mate,
  3. I have a issue with something called dry eye, ( lack of tear production) in my jack Russel and have to buy a crem made up by the vet, £25 a month, It’s the dogs left eye the one with the brown patch it does look cloudy, but doesn’t affect him, apparently caused by an infection, I use viscotears as well, his other eye is clear, he’s a good grafter, and as I said yet to see it slow him down,
  4. She seems to have the will then, it’s up to you to build the skill, the best challenge in the world, (in my opinion ) good luck mate
  5. Lively looking little dog mate, good luck hope she does well,
  6. He looks a proper character, handy for pulling the car out if it gets stuck,
  7. Quads are a good tool, but bloody cold at times I wouldn’t have got around on foot, bloody blizzard on 2 big farms and shit weather, good to see the hares huddled into the hedge back though,
  8. They are I have used the 6.5x55 for over 10 yr really nice caliber, but I have never tried a take down rifle
  9. I looked at a Blaser in 6.5 but wasn’t keen, I think I may have misjudged them, it’s handy to have things tidy, and out the way,
  10. Tidy looking rifle what caliber ??
  11. I use my quad this year, backs bolloxed, and the fields are wet and hard walking, I tend to lay my traps from the quad, then check on foot, they are good tools but I must admit, I never used to rely on the quad it’s only the last year or so,
  12. Look in the bottom of the track, is there toe pads or not, as above best suspect Fox,
  13. Best to lift them, I was caught out I have traps on one farm, I managed to lift, two other farms, the thing is they are well marked, I am not scared of loosing any, they will have to be repositioned anyway, when the snow clears as the frost heave will close most wet runs, so the moles will only fill the traps when they clear them out anyway,
  14. I am going to try them soon, so that’s good to know, I wanted some mole traps but they were showing sold out,
  15. Good luck mate m, it will be a good thing to do, you will certainly be there at the crack of light, I don’t know how the tent/ camp will disturb them, but if you want to get out on the limits of a Moore/ fell, I can’t see how they could be a better way,
  16. Thing is it was a good heart shot, amazing how they do it,
  17. I prefer them in snow, they don’t get much clearer, no dog required on this, I didn’t put them all on it was about 70 yd long, doe knew I was there, and stood stamping her feet at me, before the shot,
  18. It surprises me how green things look down there, nice beasts though well done,
  19. Any future litters of w/h pointers View Advert Hi can I ask, if any of you have any planned litters, for later on in the year, I am looking for either a big dark wirehaired pointer, or maybe even a Lab, Advertiser 3175darren Date 03/02/18 Price Category Gundogs
  20. Just ring the estate, and ask, let them know you are a novice, they will run you through it in detail, if they are any good that is , there’s plenty of places that welcome novices, they will take you with the estate rifle, to make sure you are a competent shot, once they are happy, then they will take you for your first stalk,
