    Just my opinion for me get the pup as soon as it’s weaned. keep it with you when ever you can im self employed so as soon as they arrive they are with me. the best two terriers I’ve owned came at 5 week. terriers do mature quick and I knew that it was a couple of week early but they did everything I wanted and more. had a Bullx from 6 week and she was fine If you’ve Time to invest , work etc permitting sooner is better for me ATB Tony

    Reminds me very much of a bitch I had sadly lost but mother to my little fox bitch pictured here with her pup ? the pup is doing ok … bit rough but hope she settles down ATB Tony

    Bitch is settling in well now after my initial regrets. recall is much better now and it looks like a different dog. food she’s getting must suit her better and she’s getting some muscle on her back even after just a few week. im starting to walk her through sheep now so ? ATB TonyT

    Had bitch since Wednesday lovely animal. hunts like fook and not aggressive at all. down side ….. ignorant b*****d doesn’t even acknowledge you are calling her name. does come back when it suits her . even my two terriers have better recall ? she’s small at shy of 20 inch looks bigger in photos what is she then ?….. who knows ATB …….     Just arrived and it was a bit manic ill put a better one up when she’s settled dam is bull whippet 100% sire bedlington , big strong thing he is. DNA tested so take lad on his word either way not bothered she ticks my boxes ?? ATB Tony

    JP still gets out more than most albeit on a Quad. doesn’t sell dogs either to best of my knowledge. SF’s books are hard to read as he cant write…,it’s all one long sentence. he’s made a pretty penny out of his books though. hunts a pack of beagles now so I’m told

    I’m no hound man to be honest. the little hounds I know hunt anything . they will hunt fox , but will hunt Roe. nice little things if you can keep them on your chosen quarry. Can’t answer the question regarding any added hunting quality . ATB Tony

    I did presume the reply would be defending Russell’s ? your probably right DC , but also working style. everyone seems to prefer harder dogs , where as older terrier men maybe preferred a steadier dog with a bit more self preservation. NA at the Pembroke had 10 inch Russell’s and they were fine on hunt days when I was visiting ATB T
