LOST MY BEST LITTLE JILL YESTERDAY.WELL FAVOURITE ONE ANYWAY. WE WERE JUST BOLTING A FEW FROM ROCKS.JUST EXCERSISE FOR TERRIERS REALLY. I KNEW I SHOULDN'T HAVE DROPPED HER IN THERE! SHES NORMALLY STRAIGHT IN AND OUT.IF THEY DONT BOLT SHE JUST COMES OUT ANYWAY,AND HAS DONE FOR THE THREE SEASONS IVE TAKEN HER. IVE LEFT THE BOX THERE AND KEEP GOING BACK,BUT NOT LOOKING GOOD WHAT A PILLOCK! T

A mate of mine used to have (prob still has) APBTs. He used the thick end of a pool qeue,not sure what wood it is but its very hard and good to work/shape. T

cracking cort that mate. Ive got one similar but its 3 tier. see youve got a pipe for em to run up. Do they use it cause mine wont. mind you mine was vertical. Ive replaced it with a ladder made out of 1 inch galv mesh.only a makke shift thing but they all use it except the big hob who cant get through hole. Happy hunting T

had an hour with dogs and ferrets yesterday. just tried 3 little places - just 2 or 3 holes. It was an excerise for the dog really on marking etc. The ferret bolted young from all 3.well bolted is the wrong word but young came out. I could understand the odd milky doe,but half grown uns in early Feb? thats me done for the season. YIS T

ALRIGHT LADS, IM NO SHOOTING MAN,BUT WAS TALKING TO A MATE OF MINE WHO DOES QUITE A BIT WITH SPRINGERS. HE WAS SINGING THE PRAISES OF HIS LATEST DOG(QUITE RIGHTLY SO) THIS GOT ME THINKING. HI GUYS, IVE GOT A 15 MONTH OLD BLACK DOG. HES ONLY WORKED RABBIT SO FAR. HE MARKS RABBIT WELL,AND BUSHES WELL AS TERRIERS DO. HE SHOWS NO INTEREST IN FOX WHAT SO EVER. HE ONLY GETS GIDDY ON SCENT OF RABBIT. I KNOW HES ONLY A PUP YET AND START THEM STEADY,BUT HAS ANYONE GOT ANY ADVICE? IVE JOINED LOCAL TERRIER CLUB AND GOT TO KNOW A FEW LADS (A BIT) BUT YOU KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE,PEOPLE TEND TO ONLY TELL YOU SO MUCH FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. ANY TIPS APPRECIATED. CHEERS T
