also its el legal to use bird callers to call in birds and this is a true fact,if a pigeon landed on my permission i would shoot it only because i have permission to,on mine and ste cricket club permission we are not aloud to shoot doves so if one landed on my permission i would not should it because i respect the land owners wishes. if you have permission to clear of the tree rats then fair enough but i see it as why try calling pests onto the permission when the land owner wants them clear this is not a debate started just my points on it buddy atb steve

hi buddy 1st.is to go to the permission with out any rifles and sit in a few different places and find out where there most active. 2nd.go out in all different weather to see what they prefer as all permission different, Ive been out in 25mph winds and bagged and also in -3 and bagged. 3rd.make as little noise as possible as they will hear you coming a mile away. 4th.there a number of different hunting tatics such as static,walking and shooting from a car try all these and see what the results are,i have good results in walking and shooting from a car(i cant sit long enough for
