my personal choice for river fishing is fresh water baits such as roach or skimmer bream but there is no reason why you cant use eny bait as if the pike are on the feed they will uasuly take eny thing presented to them good luck hope this helps abit try some lamprey as the blood will realy travel in the running water the pike will homein from a good distance away

weed problem on big carp lake

we used to fish a gravelpit that had a big weed problem but the club would do nothing about it saying the farmer would not let them as they rented it from him and he did not want his cattle drinking the water dont know why the only way we could fish it was by putting out big beds of bait to certain spots for while the fish seemed to clear a good patch to get a bait to clearly then we would use led clips with the tail rubber just holding so when the fish or we strike the lead came of that made the fish come up from the bottom whilst playing didnt lose half as many this way some one also to -
hi does enyone know how and what to mix to make good growing soil as i have moved into a new house and the garden is just clay with loads of flints and bricks to hard to dig and remove stones do i just buy topsoil and horse muck and mix it eny help would be good many thanks

it the day of my test to day and my instructor droped the new part if the test on me yesterday independent driving having to follow road signs as he did not prepare me for this im hoping it goes well just thiught i would share my thoughts

SOLD SOLD SOLD nissan vanette cargo white p reg good realiable van drives well have owned this van for 2 years has been used as a builders van so is a bit dirty but with a good clean in side would be great buy the bad points are a few rust spots here and there but nothing searious it smokes a bit when started cold but clears after a few revs has tax and mot till the end of november i think will check as it is my dads £600 the van is in hitchin hertfordshire veiwing welcome please pm me if interested cant get pics on at the moment will try to get some on soon many thank

had it last year i had a litter of ess pups couple of guys came around dident look or sound like they were hunting folk so i decided to put pups and mum in the house that night left the german shepard in the run at back of shed low and beholed the lock was brokern in the morning must of got a shock wnen they met little alfie lol

hi mate my oppinion is get yourself a springer you should find a good quility one for your budget the reason i say get a springer is that if you are just starting shooting a pcp you will need a filling bottle or pump to refil wich is more expence you could fill up at the gunshop but then you have to keep going there wich is a nusence if you run out of air half way through a shoot with a good springer you dont have to worry about air plus i know a few who have gone for pcp first and unfortunatly they cant shoot a springer you can practise and practice with it with out refill this is just m
