  1. I/C and half, in S/S and they both do me well but it all depends on what distance and whether you are flighting, roostshooting, decoying in close etc. A good happy medium is half It also depends on whether you are just killing them or if you or somebody else are going to eat them!

  3. The main change with me, was once my lads were old enough to shoot, I have been more than happy to stand back without a gun and just watch the skill and enjoyment they are going through, as I experienced at their age.
  4. Great images pal. Its funny how different parts of the country fare, up in Ardnamurchan there were masses of berries on the rowan, with large flocks of fieldfares and redwing hammering them. We dont get waxwings our way at all I dont think.

  9. Nice pics Bud, where about were these taken? Iam of to the Isle of Mull next weekend hope to get a few for the album. First two were at the Bridge of Orchy, as we stopped on the way up to give the dog a run. The 3rd was taken just before Sanna on the Ardnamurchan penninsula, and was looking towards the Isle of Eigg. The 4th was on the North Ardnamurchan coast. 5th was of Buachaille Etive Mor near the entrance to Glencoe, on the way back, and was purely a snapshot as we didnt have time to stop properly but the light on the mountain was just awesome, and the 6th was on Rannoch mor and wa

  11. Great pics Undi. The squirrel definatly has a lot more grey than I have seen before, it makes you wonder whether they cross breed. I didnt think they did but I might be wrong.

  13. No probs, I see you have some crackers yourself, hope you weren't staying in Jimmy's house in Glencoe, you must have been up the Mallaig way with the photos of Eigg & Rhum. Ardnamurchan we were at. Jimmys house looked like it had a boarded up window so dont know if it had been vandalised!
