  1. well to ensure you maintain them groups and to hit a fox you may need different bullets. my rifle tends to like cci stingers. these are deadly. after you buy new bullets you will need to re zero your rifle. if your after the odd fox for the farmer i would bait the foxes. find a spot that is well camouflaged. i usually use bedroom window but you may have to improvise lol, then set your bait out at a sensible distance, say 50 yards. this way you know that your fox will be in range. i usually use felix cat food. as this brings the foxes in well. the beauty of baiting is that whatever range you de
  2. Definatley will help you out Alli, if you fit one in more ways than one. On the plus it will stop the explosive sound, reduce recoil, and reduce muzzle jump. On the down side, it will not stop the bullet crack, and will obviously extend the length of the rifle. The ASE cqb is a nice mod on a 22-250 but there is plenty to choose from. Hope this helps a little.
  3. Nice pics NIge and at least you had good weather
  4. Personally I would recommend a bolt gun, because there is little to go wrong. Nothing wrong with semi autos, but more to the cleaning, and do you actually need one?
  5. I don't know what you want them for Raymond, but if its for night shooting targets, I cut out eye size circles, from reflective material that gets stuck on vehicles. It can also be used as an indication of illegal amateur lamping with rifle, from the road, providing its far enough away and the Target is life size.

  7. Lamp wasn't at a slightly different angle was it. I know you will have thought of that but can't think of much else unless lens of scope was slightly wet and droplets were magnifying bounce back.
  8. Close up it would kill but to many pellets to eat, at distance it wouldn't be fair on the bunny.
  9. .410 with 6 shot unless you don't want to eat them. I would go as light as possible, ferreting to the gun is usually very close, the way I do it.
  10. Hi pal and welcome to the forum.
  11. Unfortunatley only had my phone for this one, which takes crummy pics.
  12. Any factory made standard barrel can be hit and miss, regardless of calibre. Hand lapped barrels with precision home loads will be way different! The biggest errors though are often with the nut behind the butt.
  13. Excellent documentary and for those that haven't......Read the book, its ace!
  14. Some decent books by the look of it.
