    whats the bright star thats been above the moon & slightly to the left of it.. been visable for a few weeks now & again tonight . moons not visable tonight here, this is what i am seeing Kay, as Malt says, Venus is the brightest of the three, but depending on the time of night, will depend on where it is I am guessing.

    Look south east early morning about 5 ish. Bright planets left of the moon! They are visible before this, but thats when I am up and out!! The only joke about the moon I can think of, revolves around a song "Blue Moon"!!

    I have recently been disturbing Wood cock at night.. Lamping baren feilds looking for foxes.. Same land never see them by day.. Were crop feilds that have never had a chance to be poughed again this time of year they are normally grass but they remain stubble (mud really Now ) from the summer cut.. There is no cover they are just there and lifting due to being disturbed.. Would hazard a guess with the ground being so wet they are there feeding ?? I aint no bird expert but they are 100% woodcock They have gone again here!!!
