  1. I'm sure you'll get a more I depth answer than this but the 22 magnum is a larger case therefore holds more powder and is a more powerful cartridge. The 22 lr is the bottom off the ladder basically and the 22 magnum is one step up from that. Hope this helps. In your title though it say 22 magnum and 22 wmr which is the same thing ( Winchester magnum rimfire)
  2. I had a t3 varmint with the same one in twelve twist barrel. I used hornady through it without any problems it love the 40 and 55 grain varmint express and the 53 grain superformance aswell these round wer easily sourced and did the business so I had no need to change. I've just got the super varmint in 243 so I'm searching for a round that suits aswell. I don't think you'll go far wrong with hornady though.
  3. Some cracking dogs there especially the chocolate dog!!!
  4. .22 .17hmr .204 ruger .243 7mm 08 I hope Santa is reading this

  6. Stunning pics espeically the silhouette of the dog and rabbit on the side off the hill.
  7. I think the superformance only come in 53 grain I've used them in my t3 and the shot great groups and wer devastating on Charlie. I used the varmint express in 40 grain and I can't fault them either all the hornady stuff shot well for me on paper and vermin.
  8. Thanks for all the replies lads. Yeah deker it's gonna be a heavyweight rig alright. Luckily I'm no light weight myself and best of luck with yours tornado.
  9. Well folks I've put a deposit down on a 243 tikka t3 super varmint and I'm just waiting to get my license back. I was just wondering have any off you used the tikkas in 243 and what where they like. I had a 223 varmint and it was a tack driver so hopefully the new one is the same. It will be used for fox and deer all opinions appreciated.

  13. Hi everyone just wanted to ask people more knowledgeable than myself. I have a terrier I use for ratting and I do a lot off shooting aswell but I'm very interested in getting a lurcher. The areas I hunt aren't wide open fields they'd be mostly uneven ground and not massive by any stretch. I was just wondering what type off dog would suit this ground and be able for all legal quarry in Ireland. I quite like wheaten crosses myself. Thanks in advance for all replies.
  14. Another vote for hornady the varmint express and superformance are brilliant through my t3 varmint in 223.
