    Well don`t try to hard mate there isn`t much you can do only standard obediance i think any dog be it a mongrel will chase if things run you should be fine keep things short and sweet and your`ll be loving the bunny stew come the season get yourself a ferret that will put more chances your pups way come september...

    I think you can work on anything at a young age that the pup finds fun lets face it they love to play and if you can envolve a little bit of obediance training with in the game brilliant be it recall retrieve or anything like that good luck either way plenty of socialising brings a pup on quicker than anything else in my oppinon.....

    This is the dam to the pups with the last charlie of the day pre ban of cause... If this is a probem can a mod as i dont know what we are allowed to show delete it but i have no camera at the moment so all the pic i have is from my mrs phone...

    My dogs will hit what ever they are coarsing the moment the strike is on they never hang back and wait for help mate ie obstacles to slow things up..So if the deer pre ban obviously was to have a head start on the dog good enough to get over a fence before mine did then i would expect a dog to jump it but it isnt just deer that jump or get through even a rabbit can do that i personally think it is safer to jump than to get there and scrabble...I do fully understand your point i would love to work my dogs where jumping isnt a thing but it is.....

    Most gateways have a gate in them funnily enough...Now what ever your dog is running the chances are they make for the gate and nine times out of ten get through be it speaking pre ban a hare,fox,deer or even a rabbit for my dogs to take plenty of game they need to jump the amount of catches they have had when a hare has gone through a gate and they have jumped it whilst i have seen other dogs not familiar with jumping clatter in to it and run up and down trying to work out how to get through a dog that cant jump is more at risk i think than a dog that can cause if that dog dont know how to

    So true mate but i think getting a dog to jump freely is such a must mine jump like stags and have avoided so many more potential injuries with clattering in to stuff rather than opting to jump it...Barbed wire is mines biggest down fall....

    I am shit at any ideas completley my brother will tell you that, he probably saw me post and thought oh feck here we go...I`m sure for a site as big as this some one can help a guy who is representing his country and is also not forgetting where he is from with in the working way of life so many people get caught up in different things but the guy is wanting to produce something that represents him as an englishman including something we are all pasionate about DOGS and FIGHTING...Sounds like a days digging then a few drinks in town..........

    I am playing catch up brindle bitch found a dead roe this morning and tracked a wounded muntjac so it is all a matter of time with the old injuries and just a bit more from me...Work for me is easing up more for this year so should be able to contribute more than i have with the rehabiltation...Got to thank the mrs for most of it...I am more than likely going to have a pup from the beddy bitch to another first cross beddy grey that is from the same lines dont know if it has been done before first cross to first but giving it ago so we will see.............

    Well very poor season really not doing half of the norm but the last couple of years i`ve had personally just greatful i`ve still got me dogs just as the season is coming to an end they are all just about spot on (touch wood) so things will be busier for me i have been doing bits but my saluki type dog dislocated her front leg extremely bad in july so she has had rest but got back in to things tracking roe muntie charlie hare and catching a few bunnies...The little beddy bitch has as always been reliable, showing even with a few minor injuries she`s still got the grit for what is needed and ha

    Is there any fox killing bedlington greyhound dogs out there i am talking about regular foxing dogs not now and again if called up on but one or two a night for the life of me i have pulled out all the stops and cant find any out there at all why is this i wonder...
