Not a daft question i think to bond and have fun with your pup from day dot is brilliant really each to there own but i personally dont think it does any harm but it wont neccesarily make it or improve its hunting ability i think that is with in the breeding rather than tugs of war you should be fine with that mate

problem with badgers there back feet on prints nearlly always step into the front harder to tell always look like theres only four not five..badgers toes always have the four toes prominent because they are stuck on the front of the foot the fith is always misplaced not helping as its normally smudged with the back going in to the front

Hold on a moment i read your name and couldn`t for the life of me work out why your attitude is what it is all of the lads i know in to there bulls properly and not just for show will tell you that breeding is one of the most important things of the dog maybe i have misread these guys or maybe they need to change there style of work and breeding and take a leaf out of your book mate and breed anything...I am not one of these BODS i just think if the best is there use it

you get a pup or breed a pup from working stock because thats what you intend to do with it i`m sorry mate but there`s work and there`s work and i know what will generally last longer worker to worker everytime Everytime you have a pup be it from tried and tested parents or new lines you still have to put the effort in the difference is whether your work will pay off and generally with the right breeding it does....

Here we go then i have a beddy grey and a salukigrey cross cattle dog...there`s the introduction of dogs i work...Now on to hancock i have seen some of hancocks dogs work and they was ok now i have been there twice and with no disrespect to anybody on here but whom ever says that hancocks place is clean need f*****g glasses and a new nose this place is an absolute shite hole stinking of crap and amonia an absolute disgrace but this is just people standards and i obviously set mine high because i wouldn`t take my dog there for a day visit let alone live there...I know some people leave there ke

its 11 months mate in the mid of closed season work out how old it was around the back end of the season shouldn`t of seen to much i wouldn`t of thought with a patient handler in toe slowly does it next season will be all blazing

I`VE HAD OVER 200 IN THE LAST 3 SEASONS AND ONLY BEEN TUSKED ONCE MYSELF IN THE ARM NEVER THE DOGS....sOMETIMES HAVING DOUBLE FIGURES IN ONE WEEK THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY AGGRESIVE AND HARD TO HANDLE UNLIKE THE ROE BUT NEVER HAS A DOG SUFFERED SERIOUS DAMAGE THE ODD SCRAPE BUT NOT AN INJURY AS SUCH

Now i have my 2 original lurchers one saluki grey cattle dog grey, and my beddy grey, i`m keeping 2 pups back out of that and i wouldnt be doing so if i didnt think they would get worked hard i am a believer of only owning a lurcher if they get worked full time none of this part time shit...Next season 2008 i will be out lamping 5 days a week easily no worries at all :clapping:

yes mate here is the other one The mrs was standing behind me as i wrote it she still beleaves i dont want to keep two back but she likes the small one so i done the "old well if you want it you can have it but i aint that keen on having 4 lurchers " she`s the one at the front she dont stay still very long...
