my ferrets tails arnt growing back yet it happend to 2 hobs and 2 jills

the same hapend to a few of my ferrits the strange thing is its only happend to the 1s that have had something done at vets ie vasectimy,castration and my 2 spayed jills all the other 1s are ok been told that it will grow back with ther winter coat
