  1. Iv'e had a 22-250 for yrs,and i think its laughable how people say they burn barrels without NO first hand experience.. m..
  2. Congratulations ! You are leading in the 2013 facts i should not of posted , I have just sold my .22/250 as my .17fireball is now my preference, as it is faster than a .22/250 that must mean the barrels only last 6 months ? na two months.. lol mark
  3. Mark, you are absolutely right about the ultrasonic cleaner removing the carbon deposits, but.......... no ultasonic cleaner will uniform the primer pocket which is equally as important as cleaning it. Hi Dicehorn. I do my pockets and flash holes on the brass when its new,Tried doing the pockets when prepping cases after firing and the cutter removes nothing,so just full length and trim. Lapua brass needs very little work i have found.i'e flash holes and pockets are very good when its new. mark...
  4. Hi.Ultra sonic cleaner gets it all out when you clean your brass. No need for brushes. mark
  5. Hi.I have one, a 170.Used it a few times still not sure if its for me though. We normaly use a 240 blitz with no filter which is good for fox out to 300 plus yards. All down to your scope mainly.I wouldn't say the light is better because its a differant light, blue ish sort of.Like those headlights on some new cars that blind you from behind !!!.On and off not realy an issue because it only takes a few seconds which can be handy sometimes. All in all,Its a very good lamp but.worth the price tag,not sure.will i keep it ?.Don't know......Make me an offer lol. cheers mark...
  6. Cheers fella's.The mrs has been on the lamp for about a year now and is good at it,Got two weeks off so gona hit them hard !! I use a Sako Finnlight 22-250 mark..
  7. Got a new piece of land last week.Only 16 acres paddocks mainly, fenced into 150yrds x 150yrds plots.Went last week for the first time plenty of fox's but no safe shots or they would stay the wrong side of the fences. So as its only round the corner from where I work I have been going everyday baiting up with pheasant carcus's to get them out into the open. All the bait has been going and as sure as eggs will be eggs went tonight got the first one in the lamp wouldn't come into the paddock.Waited another ten min's the Mrs flicked on the lamp and bingo mr foxy stalking upto the bait, safty off and
