you need a shallow angle on the blade so many people make the mistake of holding the knife at to great an angle and all you do then is rough up the shoulder.
paul
they are charging this much because they are conected to the BASC and because BASC are loosing members left right and centre they have to make up the diference some where still a rip off though 25 quid to walk round a big field.

hello mate dont know if you have bought your .22 yet but dont let people on here tell you the annie is a better rifle the CZ is as spot on the target the same as the quad or the annie ,,both the quad and annie are no better than the CZ fact ask any one who shoots one,,,,if you want to get ripped of with a huge price for a .22 then buy either the quad or the annie in both cases all you are paying for is the name.

the best advice i could give you is this if it say's Land Rover on it go over it like it is a new girl friend, check for good service history if it has been well looked after it should be ok, i have had to Land Rover's both cost me a small fortune to get to a degree where they were reliable and to this day they are still on the road.
for the last ten yrs i have had Troopers had a 2.6 petrol which i all did apart from the normal service bits was change a rear wheel bearing (that is a real C--T) i sold it 2 yrs ago with 318,985 mlse on it.
now i run a 3.1 TD it has 180.000 on it alread
the problem is that in this country we give every body the right to legal protest, and as we are also known as a free speach country we tolerate people who want to protest, that is what was in our constitucion but of late the last 3 to 4 yrs muslims and the like have had more to say than they should and the government are allowing it it is the government you should be pointing your frustration to for letting it continue over the years the police has beaten and battered british people for different protests and the government are now so afraid of upsetting the muslims and other nations tha
well you have stated a price and how old it is but who is it made by i ask as there is some very good looking old guns on the market but aint worth a second look, i saw a spanish SBS at an auction it had damascus barrels and the wood you would not have believed it was a cracking piece of walnut and it was dated 1835 it sold for 400 quid because it was an AYA.
paul
hi mate think i know what form you mean over here in the cambs police area we get a paper from the dealer it just says that they have sold the required calibre on the licence and it is just a sale or transfer paper it lets the licencing authority know you have purchased that specific calibre and where it has come from i.e dealer or private.
regards your mentoring i cant help you never had the restriction on my ticket so dont know but i have heard of people getting this on there ticket think to some extent depends how you come across to them i have had my FAC/SG for over 25 yrs and told the

Remington do say that on there site they also say if you read the lot they offer that deal only in the US i had some bad Rem .17 HMR's Edgas did not want to know so took back to shop were i bought them they changed for other make so try the dealer you bought them from first.
also Rem are saying that if you have had the ammo a while and theres a possibility it has got damp that will also cause the low fire power pin hits rim powder ignigtes weak burn head leaves the case gets caught in rifleing.
paul
dont buy new cheap scopes buy good second hand at least you know when your out at night you will see what you are shooting at,but what ever you buy just make sure your shot is safe as in these times we all need to watch what we do.
paul
i use 3 different scopes on my rifles on the .22lr i use a Burris with the Ballistic plex zero at 50 each increment after that with the plex is 15 yrds so shot out to 100yrds no probs.
on the .17HMR use a Leupold VX-L mounted close to the barrel has the varmint hunter ret which is great fine lines and easy to use for hold over distance shooting .
on the .223 i use a S/B 8x56 yes it does have 3 thick posts but above them is a fine cross hair and does not blot out the target.
