  1. Hes in his prime now, I know you get these young strikers that hit the ground running, but perhaps he's learnt his craft the hard way and by 24 was scoring regularly, for Peterborough and Brentford his stats are very good, the only caveat for me is the amount of penalties included in those stats (50 maybe?) I think he'd suit UTD, he's got a bit of swagger and doesn't seem overawed by the big occasion or the responsibility. To have RVP working with him and Hojland you'd have that competition thats so needed imo...Still think he'll end up at Chelsea though as the pay day is huge and he's lo
  2. We were all waiting for you! Interesting season for you lads, new manager seems to have started well, couple of good signings, futures bright (for today at least! Lol)
  3. Mate he was so natural and cool finishing, Robbie Fowler-esque some just do it naturally, I think he was one of them... See utd have shown interest in Toney, could be a straight shoot out between them and Chelsea, think he'd rather go to Chelsea, 8 year contract on £300k a week, what's not to like!!! Ffs
  4. As our yap the other day, I complete agree.. The most natural finisher for a very long time, more talent than most in the current squad, him with bruno pulling the strings would've been amazing... yes he was/is a twat, but the bird has had his kid and they are cracking on with life, the rest of the world got upset on her behalf and the biggest club in the world reacted in the most woke way possible...shit show all round
  5. Agreed about Haaland and city mate, in many ways he's wasted there (a ridiculous comment considering he's set to break every goal scoring record going).. but there "slow" methodical build up play must infuriate him at times, he's on the shoulder constantly, you watch the amount of runs he makes and the ball don't go there, it's unreal, I'd be pulling my hair out if I was him! Lol To be honest I think he needs loads of work on his around play, his touch is hit and miss, back to play not great.. but by f**k does he scare the shit out of defenders, once he's in full stride you're f****d..
  6. Looks like UTD are about to sign Ugarte from PSG, don't know much about him but he's supposed to be fit as f**k abd loves a tackle..proper ball winner...that's what we need in that midfield, a mobile ball winner... I already like him for one statement alone.. "When we have the ball, it's a game...... when we don't, it's a fight!" Yep that'll do me lol
  7. After me taking the piss put of DC earlier I had it coming ... auto correct is Satan's work! Lol
  8. There's a record setting on teams, we regularly record meetings (tell everyone before hand) as it saves making notes during the meeting, pass the recording on and everyone has a record. Said a few times on here, I've met Greyman he spent a weekend with us all at the comp, he's a good fella and proper countryman, he showed us some pics on his I pad which certainly looked like a big cat to me, I've no idea on whether there is a breeding population, or creatures still escaping (Dartmoor zoo, sparkwell, regularly lost animals I know that from first hand info), whether they die quickly after s

Cheers mate, love you Welsh lads, really look after us cousins over the border! Lol
  14. I agree, the changes are happening slowly but surely and at least Ten Hag is pushing towards what he wants.. Lukaku is step backwards for me, I really think Hoijland is a real prospect and as you say with RVN in his ear everyday he will only improve further.. I still think they need another striker, that fella at Napoli looks the part avd they would both demand game time, Lukaku would sit for a pay day now... get another young talent in, the boy at Brighton, Ferguson looks another great prospect, that would excite me more than Lukaku... we ain't winning the league for the next couple of year

Too right, was rough as f**k back then! Lol Was up the new stadium for Bruce Springsteen earlier this year, nothing like the shot hole from yester year! Lol We were up there for 14 weeks working, had some great nights out and a few dodgy ones, not a bad city Cardiff, just a shame it's full of the Welsh...

Great line up! Del Amitri headlining, used to love that band, my first gig was REM abd Del Amitri were the support, old Cardiff Arms Park early 90s, our car was broken into, smashed the front drivers window in and nicked the stereo, f***ing freezing on the drive home sat in the back with the wind blowing in going down the M5 lol
  17. Nothing like a row all the way home to pass the time! Lol Be great if you can make it mate, the kids will enjoy it as well, I'd try and do something with them in the saturday

I think anyone with any music nous will know the 90s was a revival of 60s based guitar rock, the bands were queing up and we were lucky, imo, to be a part of it...I'd of loved to have seen it first time round in the 60s, the break from rock and roll/ rhythm.and blues into what we now see as rock music.. bands like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, THE Who, The Kinks, The Small Faces, The Yardbirds...etc etc...trail blazers, to set it up for all those to follow.. it wasn't really until House music and Hip.Hop that anything broke the mould, even disco, funk etc takes its core from.those early rock an
  19. Oh yeah, that was a rough one mate....Still piecing it together lol Nice to see you and the lads mate, did you have any luck on the canal?
  20. Me too.. Reminds me a little of Keegans Newcastle...
  21. Man City were outstanding without an out and out striker for a couple of years, it can be done ..but... for me a striker is what you play through/up to.. hit his feet and get around him, hit the channels to relieve a bit of pressure to a willing runner... we've all played with the fat striker who was a pro back in the day, great touch, can pass and see things, get 2 runners off him.and you're away, at our level I like that.. i finished playing with just that type of man, a little younger than me but overweight and no wish to keep fit, but by christ he could play... Rob Speakmam, came down fro
  22. Tottenham signed Solanke, I think that will prove to be good business.. he should do well with Maddison and Son around him, a side to watch now
