  1. f**k me mate you'll give poor old Wilf a coronary if you carry on like that... Big Sam and Super Dave in the same conversation...eeeek lol
  2. I've never known a time in football when tactics and formations are so discussed and analysed, the game has changed beyond recognition....but... the really successful sides are the ones who work the hardest, you watch liverpool and Arsenal without the ball they are desperate to get it back, sprinting to pressure the play, yes the formation suits them etc but that desire is built on players demanding 100% from each other and the manager ensuring they give nothing less, the last 2 games I've watched Liverpool (Madrid and City) was 2 of the best performances I've seen from a side in a long time,
  3. I agree mate, I'm watching with interest how Ruud gets on at Leicester, he was a breath of fresh air for those 4 games at UTD, played with a bit of freedom. You know I hate the chop and change we see too often, UTD have made so many mistakes with managers it's untrue, f**k me to sack Ten Hag after handing him a contract and spending a shit ton of money pre season is criminal, he won the FA cup and they say it saved his job, if you aint going to back him after a few months then get rid ffs... I like the sound and look of Amiron, will admit I'm not an avid Portuguese league follower, but ha
  4. I'm the same mate, I'm forced into it with work but it does my head in!
  5. Surely time to bring back moyes? Lol
  6. Funny reading this old thread, so did Rooney fulfill his promise ending his career as England and UTDs record goal scorer? Or did he waste his talent on oies and beer...lol
  7. As much as I'm loving City falling off a cliff and Pep imploding and self harming, Liverpool are now looking like winning the league and beating Real Madrid etc, it's sickening.. us poor utd fans have to celebrate 1-1 draws with Ipswich and enjoy a relegation scrap... It's a funny old game lol

  12. Great stuff Sean, I'm sure you'll love that way of life mate .. I'm guessing you'll be this side of the bridge now... Pretty much an Englishman lol .. All the very best mate.
  13. Benares is London mate had Sindhu is in the Compleat Angler at Marlow, lovely spot on the Thames...worth a visit for a treat mate
  14. I do a fair lump near me that's owned by a woman, I've spoken about her before, she is proper mental in all the right ways lol . Met her late one night lamping next doors farm, unknown to her we had permission (was with @white van man). We'd just walked a field and about to flick the lamp on in the next when a set of headlights was ploughing through the field we'd just done...old habits we crouched in a hedge and let them pass, up the hill and away.... Walk to the top of the farm and see someone at the top of the hill walk across a gateway with a gun over his shoulder, we flashed the lamp
  15. Great ain't it mate, Was there with Marie a few weeks back when we took Isla to watch a gig up there... It's a small chain but clever menu and based on Indian street food, we really enjoyed it... Get yourself to either Sindhu or Benares mate, best I've eaten in personally
  16. He was just after more permission lol
  17. I get what you're saying mate, but I think it's a culmination of things not just the ban, as I said earlier Social media and the desire to "show off" to an unknown captive audience is a big factor, regardless of the ban or not these would be the same twats... The hunting ban has been in place for 20 years nigh on, before and after that loads of us poached, no doubt the aggro of hunting means we have lost loads of decent lads from it, or at least at the capacity they were at it... Perhaps your right, that's the future those who have no care for the countryside, seasons, animals or the peop
  18. Sorry mate I don't agree.. How you behave and conduct yourself is what makes you a man imo... Regardless of ban or not the video shows a bunch of c**ts acting like a bunch of c**ts, if we want to align ourselves with that type of behaviour as "we have no choice" is a poor show all round imo.. None of us are whiter than white and I'm sure have all been in many places/many acts we shouldn't be many times... I can defend to myself that I've not done much wrong and affected no one else in how I've conducted myself in the field, along with the lads I keep in my company ...
  19. So many changes in hunting, the main imo being social media, lads smashing as much shit as possible to get likes. I agree the ban has changed everything and for lads who want to genuinely test their dogs to the max it's made it near on impossible, I admit I don't do half of what I used to, for me it's not worth the aggro... But there's a line and there always was, this isn't looking with rose tinted specs or some romantic "old poacher" view, the lads in that clip would be a bunch of c**ts in the pub, in the shop, in your businesses etc.. and thats a fact... Forget the farmer rammed them f
  20. As we are all hunting hunting men your immediate reaction is to defend other hunting men, unfortunately the old school poacher is not the current type, "walk the land and leave no trace" was how many of us were taught... These lads don't give a f**k imo, if the video is real then they are acting like c**ts and bring it on top for everyone... It's nothing new though, lads like this fuel the fire that is already lit against us... I can't defend them, it's not my way of doing things and the blokes I'll walk out with wouldn't have them in their company either...
  21. It was free on Netflix mate, I skipped through all the crap and watched the fights the next day, no way would I have paid for it or stayed up and watched it
  22. It's got mixed reviews, but I enjoyed it, fairly light hearted and east enough watch ..liked Danny Dyer trying not to play his typical role, but just can't help himself lol
