My contracts manager of 10 years left 2 weeks ago for pasture new, no hard feelings from us he served us well for a very long time, it's just put a bit of immediate pressure on me personally.. but once ive filled the site labour voud I quite enjoy the running of it all, I meet a lot of different people, and our work is very varied... its been good to us for nearly 30 years now, my lad is on and bring primed to take the lead in the next 3-5 years.. he's been a breath of fresh air to be honest...me him and my brother are doing a 2d auto cad course at college (can't believe im back in education

I'm close to 50 now and last week showed me mine is a youngmans game.. Got off the roof at 11pm on Wednesday night started at 7am, strip asbestos out on comp.. took us 5 days in total. We had to finish it on Wednesday as we had a 90t crane on site Thursday and Friday to put on 1100m2 composite.. Completed in 2 days.. that's a pretty good smash! Yeah great performance from Wardley, I really didn't think he could box so well, fought a great fight and deserved the win, although the stoppage was a bit early for me.. Parker showed what a durable fighter he is and a gentleman in defeat, he always acts so well win or lose... I'm not sure where he goes now though, will be hard to get a shot at a belt after this loss?

It's that one punch power that Wardley has definitely got... but if I was putting a bet on it would be Parker in the later rounds.. should be a good fight

My lads piled a big lump on gold and silver.. he's done very well on stocks over the last 18 months, I've no idea what he's talking about half the time lol He's only 20 and completely different to me at 20, switched right on in a very modest way... he is very excited about his silver pot at the minute though lol

Good post mate. completely agree with the "pulling down of British flags and the not touching of pride flags" the irony is sad to be honest. The amount of Ukrainian flags that went up and now Palestinian flags, when you start seeing that in little Devon villages where they are untouched by the real issues of all this unrest, it makes you wonder how easily people are brain washed... Contrary to my previous post, I quite like seeing the English and British flags flying, but it has become a bit of a bandwagon to jump on rather than true patriotism imo.. Fair enough mate, i look at it is if i dug deep enough about everything I watch or listen too I would no way share the same views or opinions with the majority so id end up up watching nothing... he's always been a bit of a cock, they all are... its a stupid comment and hes shown himself to be a prick but, I guess I'm either not passionate enoughto care about his opinions to switch him off, or I'm honest enough to say that rather than pretend I don't watch anything by anyone who doesn't share my views...(by ther way that's not aimed at you, it's a general band wagon thing)

Had a letter through a couple of weeks ago from a debt collection agency, saying I owed £76 for non payment of a direct debit on a car insurance.. rang them as I had just paid ours all up front, so didn't even have a direct debit.. turned out it was for a black BMW (never owned one), bloke said I'd been a victim of identity theft as they had took the insurance out in my name, address etc.. I had to get a crime number and send it through, within a few days I got a letter saying the account was closed and no debt... f**k knows how they got my identity, or why, as I am pretty inactive on line, do

I got to agree.. it's over coached now, as Des Walker said on the overlap, "when a keeper is touching the ball more than a centre midfielder, there is something wrong"... Centre forwards only touch the ball 10 or 20 times a game now, it's like watching paint dry at times... the cut and thrust has all but gone, I watched a few old UTD games a while back (remebering better times lol).. f**k me the challenges look X rated now, and that was normal run of the mill tackles, you basically can't tackle anymore... it's pretty shit
