    Those who work rock no what has happens in them ...i have seen plenty of good rock dogs work an each one that goes down to find his quarry you no pretty much what's happing...all you have to do is listen seen few dogs go in an came put peppered after a hour or two an the owner says he killed him when really he bayed an mixed a bit an come of sore ...also herd dogs growing an going mental to get in a crack wher he canny get in to an ther be his quarry looking back at him...an after a hour ,day he has come out with not a scratch bit yet sounded like he was getting a face full.... Seen dogs go in

    Its the same with the rocks rob if a dog isn't gonna sqeeze in tubes it isn't gonna squeeze throu the rocks believe me I have seen it..the will go in but when it come to dropping down a crack they don't or they may drop down something only not to get back up..them that don't squeeze arnt much good ...

    Depends on the dog rat face I've had hounds run them to ground an ya stood them back waiting an as soon as the dog makes contact the hounds have dived in an still the fox has bolterd...seen dogs yapping at them most of the day an as soon as its come out you've put a dog in with a bit of a bang with it the fox has bolterd.. Rember once when i was keepering up in Scotland lads had rung me of the next estate saying they had has dog after dog in this crack at bottom of a cliff face an the fox wouldent budge so I went up to try my dog ...when I got ther I dropped my dog in an we all stood ther wait

    Rat face had folk far an wide ring me saying they were coming to help on that rescue... Amazing really half of em I didn't no.. Had good freinds willing to travel 5 an 6 hours to help..

    I've seen all sizes of terriers working rocks if the dogs got it in them they will find...i like hard dogs for the rocks ...just my preference don't want to be ther days listening to a yapper that doesn't mix because Charlie will sit ther tucked up .. Yes I lost a very good bitch in the rock few years ago she hit them hard an them that dident bolt she would pop out after they was dead...had 7 good seasons with her but because of her working style I sadly lost her I dug for days trying to get down to were I last herd her only to find a dead fox.. Never saw here again .. But been working piles
