That's quite a few dogs there too, they all are/been yours?
-
yes. I take some considerable time, but patience is part of the job Yeah, you can see the patience! Thanks for sharing them, they really are beautiful
-
You use any hand tools as well as the drill on them? It must take a while to finish some of those pieces from the looks of them!
-
I don't know much about the in's and out's, especially when it comes to people's feelings towards Hancock, but i know how great it's been getting a pup a few months back and spending time with him - hope all goes well with yours mate, have fun!

Beautiful work mate, really beautiful! What tools do you use?

Maybe i am making assumtions, you're right, i shouldn't do, but like i said i'm new to this and can only go on what i've read. I was asking mainl i nreference to his breeding Sorry fo being a tit! Whin you sound like an arsehole. Like the lad said."he's new to it" so why be a c**t? The lad only asked for knowledge on a certain line And the question he asked was relative to the toppic. Anyway, carry on lads good reading on this thread... Thanks mate - i really enjoy reading what you lot have to say, facinating stuff - don't want to piss anyone off...

I've got nothing to divulge - like i said i know next to nothing and was just asking a question in reference to the original thread. I can guess that my question was probably stupid but you've not told me anything. I'm interested in what you guys have got to talk about, you obviously know your dogs. I don/t, why make me out to be a prick? He's obviously got nothing to do with it from your replies. Sorry for asking. Now i do feel like a tit for being a part of another thread which goes off topic. Thanks

OK, sorry. I thought it might bring up strong feelings somewhere. Like i said i don't know what i'm talking about. Just want to learn

oh yeah, and sorry if i've taken this post off on a different direction - thinkjing about it - what's his crack with his breeding/bloodlines etc? (kind of related topic...)

I'm new to all of this but find it facinating to read of all you guys knowledge of dogs and their breeding. My question, is what's the beef with Hancock and his dogs? What's his story, i see him writing for CMW, and advertsing dogs in the back each months. What's his background, he doesn't strike me as the type of guy that's out late at night with a lamp...

I'm not, but i'm nearby and mobile...

I was talking to a friend who's a farmer/shepherd about her whistle commands, wondering if i could use the same principles with mine. I gots to say it's hard keeping it all in my head, i find myself saying commands without thinking about them, 'come here', 'this way' etc when i'm doing somethign else entirely - i'm not sure who's getting more training, me or the dog, it's a good job he's got cloth ears sometimes cause i confuse myself. I'm going to keep an eye out for that Dave Sleight dvd for sure. -

Cheers all, He's a little bugger sometimes, acting dumb like he doesn't know what i'm saying, then at other times he's as good as gold. He's getting to that age where his personality is beginning to come out too, funny little chap. Do many of you use whistle commands with yours? -

Hello... After a while of reading, listening and talking about it i bought my first running dog at nine weeks old. He's going on fifteen weeks now, gone everywhere with me, doing alright, a bit obstinate at times, but he's learning the basics and beginning to retrieve to hand once he's tossed about whatever's been thrown. I've been down the library, got as many books out as possible - Drakeford, Sheardown, Vitoria Stillwell etc i even got one out on teaching guide dogs, but i'm running out of books to read that aren't about how best to wash and cut Poochies hair and i'm wanting to st
