Anyone know of any vets who know about ferrets in the Midlands, preferably around Sutton Coldfield/Birmingham area. The local ones I have phoned are not great. Particularly any who do a jill jab for less that about 60 quid. Thanks

So what exactly is in ferret food that is not in cat food? and what are the dietary needs of a ferret that are different from cats? Have never seen this explained by the proponents of only feeding ferret food

Hi all, spot of advice wanted. Looking to get a first gun for my 12 year old (not a very big or strong 12 year old). Thinking of a break barrel, looking at about £150 second hand. Would be used for rabbit and pigeon. Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

Check the RSPCA (I know, I know!) and local ferret rescue centres. When mine got out she was found and handed in to one of the ferret rescues. Best of luck, I hope you get her back

Sea bass are a completely different family, found all round the uk, run to 14lbs or so, mostly smaller. brilliant eating, good sport. It is illegal to stock any non native species into uk waters-look at signal crays. I suspect they could survive in some southern fisheries where it is warmer, but I would prefer to stick with what we have got

definately a kelt, pretty well mended, and should have gone back.
